Very often you have female friends because: - you're single - so female friend is kind of substitute of a woman - you didn't have many women in your life - so again female friend is a substitue - thanks to female friends you can become more hmm natural around women. BUT if you for example had a sister, or you have this natural flow that gives you possiblity to meet many women, date them etc. then you don't need female friends almost AT ALL. In my whole life I had this ONE exception - a girl who was pretty, single when we met but somehow none of us thought about ourselves in that way. So since the very beginning i saw her as younger sister (which i never had) and even now, years later, she has a husband, he is my friend and she is still to me like a sister. And I'm to her like a brother. But this is like 0,001 % exception. For all the other 99,9 % you just want to have a women and then you don't need female friends because they live in different reality and as a result they don't understand your struggles at all. Also, when I was young I thought that women have empathy, much better then men - so they should naturally be able to put themselves in my shoes, right ??? Well, it turned out that I couldn't be more wrong. Women very often have 0 empathy, less than men. All they care is their own feelings and nothing else matters. That's the reason why they do almost everything to protect their feelings, their insecurity. This will include lying, crying etc. Yes, it's a bit sad but I find myself that as a man, man friends are much more valuable. Why ? Because they simply understand men struggles.
