This whole game shows that he's not ready for the league. He isnt hustling for the ball, not playing defense, sure hes making athletic layups, but the other team is also doing it. The other teams has better players, they just don't get recognized. Mikey still has time to change, but if he doesn't, hes not gonna go to the league, or do well.

No defense is the number one reason why this team constantly loses. Most of the team does not put pressure on the player they are guarding especially Mikey. 2. I barely observed any rebounding by Vertical Academy(Mikey's team). Big part of the game is center rebounding or power forward then guarding the paint against offense. The opposing team excelled in rebounding and putting up points, plus playing great defense. Mikey and Tre need to kick out the ball more once attacking the paint and shoot more mid range jumpers. 3rd, coach needs to be fired on Vertical academy, the fact he lets his team operate like this is the reason why they are loosing.

I know this is a year late but if you look at 3:20 Mikey doesn’t play defense on his man, and his teammate has to come help contest the 3 and the coach doesn’t blame Mikey and blames the teammate instead, the coach is also to blame for this poor behaviour.
