I am thankful that you put this up Dr. Marshall. As a Christian soldier, I do believe we need to hear this. It is difficult, I hate it. But, knowing history, biblically and scientifically, we can better arm ourselves with facts, rather than emotions when we are confronted by hateful pro-aborts.

God’s justice was visited upon them when in 146B.C. The Romans defeated them and lay waste the city of Carthage. Remember Cato the elder in the Roman Senate who finished every speech he made with “Delenda est Carthage” (Carthage must be destroyed.) Not a stone of the Punic city was left standing and the Romans covered the site of the city with salt so that it became barren and nothing ever grew there again. Having been raised in the Catholic Church which included 7 years of parochial school education I never learned anything about this atrocity in my own church and only learned about it through Protestant of many colors RU-vid channels that came up in my feed. This in and of itself is an atrocity having been kept from me this info from ancient history that would have helped me better understand the evil taking place in the modern day world as history tends to repeat itself.

@Dina Andrade you must have not met many Protestants especially the Evangelicals, Pentecostals, and Baptists to name just a few as they can put many a Catholic to shame with their intense study and knowledge of both the Old and New Testaments. And this is where they take issue with the Catholic faith because they do not adhere to Apostolic tradition and only believe in what comes directly from the Bible, and for some it is the King James version only.

Not sure the pope actually gave her Communion. It could have been any one of a number of priests who assist him at Mass and don't even know her. In any case, however, she should not have presented herself for Holy Communion.

Education part: our lady of Guadalupe converted over a million Aztec Indians to Catholicism. I always wondered why God in the Old testament would wipe out old cities of people men women children and even the animals but I've come to believe it was because of two things their sexual deviation and their child sacrifice. I'm praying that God has Mercy on this country because of those who faithfully believe and stand for what's right but I'm not sure that we won't suffer a severe chastisement for these sins.

Right?! I mean, when you truly listen to those stories-like Lot’s daughters, it’s like, “oh yeah! They need to be taken down.” I also wondered why Christ was so severe about “not looking back” in this last Sunday’s Gospel when you choose to follow him, and why Lot’s wife was turned to a pillar of salt for the same. Not only is it choosing to turn away from God again, but it’s also hurtful to watch people destroy themselves. He says it to protect us from the pain and doubt. The people of God will be saved. God keeps his promise.

You become Catholic because you believe in the Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Ghost. You become Catholic because at every Mass you are at Calvary paying your debt. No one is perfect, Catholic or not, the Pope is no saint.. we are all fallible.
