After seeing this, I now have a backstory hc for genderbend Chihiro She pretended to be a boy because she was "too strong for a girl" and kept getting bullied Instead of telling Mondo about her actual gender (What happened in the game) She tells Sakura because Sakura is so strong and shes a girl so it gives Chihiro confidence to tell her. idk if that makes any sense lol
I'm pretty sure Sakura would be a guy, though? So she'd likely still end up going to Mondo with the issue, as Mondo would be a girl in the AU. So, sadly, chapter 2 would still play out exactly the same way.
I would say it’s to genicders working togather as instead of one gender being a target for the one or other genicder there will now be more murderers if geniciders decide to kill. They would be unstoppable

Yeah- I mostly remember what characters were from the game by going through death order, that way I don't forget someone. (Like Hagakure or Hifumi for an example.) It's just my preferred way to order things.
