Mommy is 100% right she needs to get use to the texture just because the baby gags doesn't mean you need to shut down and give her what she wants. You setting her up to be extremely spoiled and that's not good. Hubby listen to your wife she knows best.
Heads up people sometimes its the temp. Of the veggies.... heat up again and try it ... or when you heat it up keep the jar in warm water so ut doesn't cool down to room temperature. ..you want it a little bit warmer... my kids had a issue with that...they seamed to eat well and little later they didn't want it. .. my mother said heat it up again... Wise women with eight kids and no FINICKY eaters ! Then she replied OH ! PLEASE ! I HAD NO TIME FOR THAT !!! LOL !!!! THAT TRUE AS TRUE COULD BE WOMEN, ALWAYS KNEW WHAT SHE WANTED NO IF OR BUTS ...... GOD BLESS HER SOUL...........

NO DAD MOM IS RIGHT! If you want a healthy little princess you HAVE to give her veggies! She's most likely gonna dislike them all at first but you HAVE to keep trying because it's the best thing for her. You can't just not give them to her because it makes YOU uncomfortable she needs them. Give her veggies first mom before you even think of giving her applesauce or any fruit cause once she has the yummy fruit she'll never ever want the veggies! You guys are doing great repetition is the key she'll get use to it.

LORD JESUS, you young people truly need to take a parenting course,mom about have a stroke because baby gagging a bit and dad want to feed her sweets because she doesn't want actual nourishment and he doesn't have the patience for her to get the taste,texure,and flavor together. Mom and Dad,if you guys keep giving in to her because she doesn't want something, you will truly truly have a very hard task of getting a sitter because your child is very very very spoiled.I pray that you guys got better or at least took a parenting course.

Who taught you to be a parent? .a lot of babies gag on new foods and textures they tell you at the baby clinic, she has only had milk up till now, a new swallowing way to get used to. Mum and Dad will learn like millions have had to. ⚘

Of course they got better because they obviously care about their baby and who cares what a babysitter has to deal with? @@riceflowershea8748 you should have re-watched before responding. They brought up giving her apples instead, which is considered a sweet food. Yes, dad is the one acting crazy, not mom. In regards to a baby sitter, I’m not sure where you come from, but in most families, mom and dad both work, so a child is likely to be with a baby sitter at least 40 hours each week, not just a couple hours here and there every few months. So what a baby sitter thinks really does matter because if you have a really spoiled or ill mannered child, you’ll be lucky to get a good sitter to take care of your child.
@@lindsaywhitley8812 Where I come from, as you put it, most families bring their children to daycare centers, not a babysitter. Unless you have video and sound rolling in all rooms of your home, I wouldn’t trust a babysitter 40 hours/week with my children, no way. I had Way too many problems with whackadoo babysitters. Not that daycare centers are anything great, but at least there is videoing rolling, the building is fenced, there is more than one person watching the children, and to work in a daycare center these days, certification is required. Plus background checks are done. That’s what I meant by people using babysitters here and there. Referring to this video, I think we’re on the same page about not letting the child dictate what will be eaten or not eaten.
Texture is what the problem iw the thickness let them suck it off the spoon! It is thicker than milk and so she gags on it! They need the time to adjust!

@@kingston5885 well you’re wrong. She gagged once at the very beginning and started doing much better after that. It can take up to 10 times of trying something before a child decides if they like it or not, but as long as they aren’t gagging on every bite or throwing up each time, then it’s better to keep giving it to her. It’s not torture. You will wind up with a VERY picky eater if you only give them what they want. If she acts like this with carrots, how do you think she’ll react to green beans or peas? So if she doesn’t like those either, you’re solution is to not feed her vegetables at all? She will learn to adjust to taste and texture, but in order to do that, she has to be given things with different tastes and textures, like carrots.
@@kingston5885 OMG, torture? No way you have children. This is the way you have to train your baby. They have to try different foods so they learn the taste and textures. It’s important to let them keep trying. Sometimes if it’s just too difficult, a little banana mixed in with a vegetable helps. They need to taste vegetables before sweet, because once they taste the sweet, it’s game over with a lot of babies. This is not torture sweetheart, this is Love.

Idk, maybe because it’s very common for babies to do that when they try their first real food that has a different texture and taste. She gagged once at the very beginning, but got better and better with each bite. Some people just over react about things they clearly don’t understand.

I pray to God some of the people don't have kids no way they could because if they did they would know babies always gag at new textures and flavors it is completely normal.
