It is frustrating but until one of them wants to break the cycle it will continue. However, and I have seen this personally - grandma is an addict, the mom isn't and the granddaughter is. Grandma gave daughter a shitty childhood, granddaughter was given a great childhood and not even exposed to grandma but granddaughter became an addict.... Genetics?! Environmental factors?! We all are fucked.

U do nt know until it's ur mom dad brother or sister even kids I am an addict but been clean for 3 years but it's still hard everyday I want too do it and I don't know why !! it's just like having devil on one shoulder and angel on other. Whispering do it \ don't do it!

I have a great family and a few of the members came from bad childhoods, yet they broke that chain the day they had kids/built a reliable family. Only way to break that chain is to see the worth in a different life. Familiarity isn't healthy

Yea I’m from Seattle too and up here car theft is huge especially when it comes to the midnight races in Kent Washington. There is people up here who all they do is steal cars and they are sober. He happens to have an addiction and is from Seattle where stealing is something you pick up on the streets.

I didn’t get that far yet in the video. My grandma had a small scratch on her arm that she let go-she was in her seventies & hadn’t been there (aside from her job, but as a patient since she was in her twenties. Her arm swelled up so bad within a week & had to take IV antibiotics. You are right! Don’t mess w cellulitis...

Your judgements are a result of your own expectations and biases, it doesn’t matter who the person is. The only thing effecting how judgmental a person is is themselves, if it’s conditional depending on the person being judged then you’re just judgmental, which is fine, but it’s better to accept it than to put the blame on someone else who ultimately has no impact on you and wether you agree with them or not on their decisions they are likely living a much more difficult life than you, and this is everybody’s first and only chance at life, nobody knows a thing. Realize that.

I think he's lying because the stories came slowly and with hesitation, like he was making it up as he went along and didn't have confidence in being believed. I do think he uses drugs and steals, but I think he knows that isn't looked upon very highly and so exaggerates his activities so at least he's a successful lowlife. He probably mainly steals from family and 'friends', and if it's anything else I'd guess burgling and mugging the old, disabled, or otherwise infirm people. That's who these people tend to target.

Agree. He's making stuff up to make himself sound accomplished. He's not a bad guy, not stupid, and I am sure that drug addiction is the real problem. He's got a chance to make something of himself if he can get clean.

He isnt bullshitting the oilfield pay. I did it for 3 months but hated all the hours. $27.50 an hour at 80 hours a week (overtime is $41.25) is $7700 for two weeks before taxes

Three years ago, a thief ran behind me and stole my phone out of my back pocket. I was walking by myself when he did that. The asshole ran off and got away. He could've done some physical harm if he wanted to. They don't care about gender, age, or race. All they worry about is the next "thrill."

No shit. I hate thieves. My mail was just stolen, with my new credit card, disability paperwork, and disability related court paperwork. My community is full of elderly and disabled people, and they steal our mail a lot. It makes you feel so violated in your home, like your robbery. Especially if you’re continental about things, like some are. Arg 😤

$7200 in a paycheck, making $27.50 an hour. Let's say his paycheck is over a 2 week period. He would have to have worked 261 hours over those two weeks. If he didnt take a single day off, that's over 18 hours a day. Sure Austin

Dont forget, if he worked overtime, he can get time and a half and double time.. I know people in the oil fields that work about 15-16 hrs a day for 2 weeks straight . Then get 1 week off...

Union job maybe ? Double-time on Sundays. It's a good job working the oil fields, work 2-3 years & you are set. Not if you blow it though.

@@SoftWhiteUnderbelly I have a friend...I met him in a rehab program, when I started watching your channel he was the 1st person I thought of...I dont know if you travel or not were in CT but his story blew my mind...he was set up as a kid at a campfire because the other kid was jealous he was best friends with the other boy...so he made some kind of thing that was highly flammable and told him it was a water bomb to put out the fire.. long story short he caught on fire it was a horrific incident, I think he is burned 90% of his body his face is disfigured doctors actually pronounced him dead at one point, and we're writing his death certificate somehow he woke up and ran to the bathroom because he had to pee he was like 12 yrs old he said he woke up and thought he needs to hurry up and go pee because if he has an accident his mom will whoop him that's when he realized what happened to him when he looked in the mirror. and he is the most beautiful soul I've ever met and that's not the craziest part of his story his entire life story so amazing with everything he been through how he is still so positive happy and loving... he went through a lot of drugs and hard times had to put both of his beautiful kids up for adoption very heartbreaking story I haven't told him about this Channel or anything but I thought of him right away! I love your channel it is so eye opening to so many, what the world sadly really is like and as a former addict myself I relate to a lot of what they say keep giving great life stories because they do matter and reach people and help them! Watching these actually help me to stay sober reminding myself that all of these people is what I would go back to, thank you for all the stories you show and the Beautiful photography of the people you interview ❤ if u ever come to CT plz interview my friend!
