Very true! I informed the Old Goa Station Police about such in my village but the Police shield them saying those migrants are going past midnight for dinner or for a walk. In my village too I am facing too much trouble cause of migrants. I can't even enjoy fresh air in my verandah during the day. They look with such lustful eyes & pass comments but the Police are not taking any action against them & shouting back at me for calling them ( Police ) up & troubling them. I am from Merces, Tiswadi, Goa.
Police verification is not being done by people who are employing people to work. Owners should be fined heavily for not doing police verification of tenants / employees. Cancel their licence also to do business in Goa
Very true! Employers / Contractors as per law share a master- servant relationship with the workers hence the Employers/ Contractors are liable. They use influence to shield their workers hence crime rate is increasing in Goa & the migrants become bold to commit crimes.
