I lived in Thika many years back and loved the town. It is a very affordable town to live in with practically everything. @Dolphine 254, your footage of an improved Thika town makes me want to go back.
Hi I was 10 when I left Thika. I have been in the UK ever since. I lived at the Thika Temple on the Workshop road. I am surprised that you have not videod any of that part. Please are you able to do that? As well as inside the temple and the green area outside as well as the gurudvara opposite and Jainshara on the left of the temple. Gatumaini school and chania high school was where we were 6:26 educated.
Dolphine..ineed your advice on making content..you are my mentor..how much is the vlogging camera and how is peaples reaction when vlogging and shooting then on camera
During my recent visit to Kenya, someone commented on one of my videos that Thika town is cleaner than Kigali and that I should visit to showcase it on video. This video gives a different impression though! Kenyans Nawapenda sana ❤
That guy only hears about he has not been there. Kigali you will spend a whole month without washing your shoes there is no dust. Those guys there sweep roads with soft broom afterwards repairs
Something is very wrong with Mt.Kenya leadership...even a town that is adjacent to the city like Thika...it shows no improvement despite having 10yrs of devolution..imagine if Kisumu was adjacent to Nairobi how Thika is...they could be competing in almost everything..
Don't be delulu.. any town near a city is disastrous coz there will be massive capital flight from the town to the city. Most of Kikuyu's money has capital flight from central to Nairobi and Nakuru leaving most of Central small towns with no Investments
@@ichooseviolence2532stop excuses mko down mbaya mbovu..karibu na Nairobi,3 presidents, kikuyus have been in charge of city hall till 2013 stealing public funds left right ND center and using the money to build useless weak rentals ND investing in bars ND alcohol..yet your towns are still worse ND backward than bungoma or vihiga😅😅😅
Before people tell the meaning of a name they should enquire from the indigenous people. Thika in Kikuyu is not pronounced with an i but like a for ape. Thika river is mainly in Murang'a county and has that same name from source. The whitemen who founded the town gave it the name pronouncing it with an i. It has nothing to do with burying. I come near the source of the river
Thika inazidi kuparara 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣in worse condition than i left it more conjested hakuna hata traffic light moja imeundwa Wametowa ma nissan zote huko ni matuk tuk mabodaboda tu zinakwarusana na binadamu na hakuna lights tokeni thika town tupelekeni suburb yake huko kuna more order na si kiambiu 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jamesokoth6655 it's not about power, it's about economics.. if Kisumu was near Nairobi it will suffer the same fate coz much of Luos money will go to invest in Nairobi leaving Kisumu more of just a residential place than a city
