We Indians should see Bhutan and adopt cleanliness! Where there is no cleanliness, Lakshmi does not come, this is the message of our own Hindu scriptures.
Indians are good at quoting scriptures but really bad at following them. Aṣṭādaśapurāṇeṣu vyāsasya vacanadvayam | Paropakāraḥ puṇyāya pāpāya parapīḍanam || The essence of all the sacred books is, helping others is virtuous while hurting others is a sin. Yet, India has **highest** number of scam call centers and rape crimes in the world.
Immaculate street with the mountain as your background is so majestic! Love Bhutan! And I noticed it has no electrical wiring or cables hanging on the street.
I am from Pakistan, and tbh the infrastructure, cleannesses and discipline is much better than here. Also the video quality is too good, i love such raw quality footage.
Nice walkable streets, can't even compare to my city Kolkata where either sidewalks are broken and trees coming out of it, or illegally occupied by hawkers.
First of all as a Bhutanese, i thank you for hosting my country to your subscribers and the world and secondly, I hope you had a wonderful time in Bhutan... Thank you for visiting...✌️
The landscape of Darjeeling, Sikkim is similar to Bhutan. The handicrafts available there are also available in Sikkim, kalimpong, Darjeeling even in Siliguri. It's expensive for north bengal locals, but it will be a new destination for other parts of Indians. Darjeeling, Sikkim and kalimpong rular areas are better options for nature walks. Pelling, gangtok and kalimpong is a better option for eco tourism and also an easy and cheaper option. Handicrafts available here in our town are cheap and best.
From 56:18, it's a boulevard towards the memorial chorten. The cost of one concrete block (divider) along the driveway were said to be estimated at Nu. 4,700/- at the time. Certainly, it is a Billion Ngultrum worth of project undertaking. ❤
To be honest bhutanese each citizen needed to take a little bite in responsibility for cleaning the footpath Sides and keeping the backyard of the building needed and clean ....being bhutanese I'm concerned la n plz guys don't take it as negative points la
We do, in fact I’d say we have too many. We have the main common national language but English is also used since everything in school is taught in english. If you look at the sign boards, you will also see the National language but smaller font
We do, in fact I’d say we have too many. We have a common national language but english is used as well. All the sign boards will have the name in the national language as well but in smaller font
English the is the language of instructions in Bhutan, but yes Bhutan does have it's national language called Dzongkha which basically uses a script derived from the Tibetan scripts. If you look at the car license plates , you see them on the top.
Bhutan needs to know simple uniform modern sidewalks in all it's urban areas. For a country of that income level, the sidewalks and roads quality should be a little better. They look very primitive and amongst the worst in the world. No one so far seems to care or put any thoughts into these things in Bhutan and this needs to change.
N don't throw a small amount of plastic litres aside the foot paths la and Municipal and thromda needed to maintenance or take a action in development of good footpath and advertised a Lawrence of litters and garbage la to citizens
What i noticed was except Bhutan, every other South asian keeps horning the car, making it noise pollution like with unnecessary horn and in terms of cleanliness i guess only Bhutan and sri Lanka are best
Can I come? I will dress traditional and stay in your guesthouse. But I can't afford hundreds per day just for the privilege. So I suppose this video is second best.
