Suggestion to the video editor: show me the goal in the first 15 seconds, so I can know if I'm interested. In other words, take the clip at 4:30 and move it to the front, first thing.
@@justincottingham3969 No. I had no idea what a "thin strip ripping jig" is until I saw it at 4:30. It turned out I wasn't interested. But I had to get through 4.5 minutes of video to find out. Yes, I know, I could have seeked through the video to find it.
I agree with your comment. Takes only a minute to show the final product. This is a good video and well edited and presented, but it is good to know in advance if you want to continue watching. I always like the voice over or the process described as the work is carried out. I can't stand videos that are either silent or use incredibly distracting background music. This video is good!! The steel sleeve and threaded hardware are common hardware store items. The threaded tubes are sometimes labeled as aircraft aluminum bolts. As far as the miter slot hardware, you can just re-purpose parts from any featherboard. Thanks.
