To those who are confused, the boy is thing in the past. The girl is Wednesday's ancestor moodz addams. He sacrificed himself to save her from getting stabbed. The mob thought he was the hyde. Moodz and her family were able to save him by reviving him as a hand. He stayed loyal to the family for generation.

I love this backstory, it would also be more understandable why Wednesday is colder in the new show than she is in the previous ones.

I want an anime series of Wednesday and The Adam’s family in this art style cause I can see this being made canon, both emotional, comedic, and dark cause this drop over heals amazing! I really love anime.

If this is the history story of 'Thing the hand,' then I can understand why he's always staying with Wednesday's side all the time. Both romantic, respectful, & ironic of a story, if you ask me.

Summary: Believing that "Thing" is The Hyde an angry mob chases him to the Addams family house, when they make it they burn the place trying to kill him, but fail. However when the leader of the mod kills "Thing" he thought he killed The Hyde but then the mob realizes their mistake when they see the REAL Hyde on top of the building, leaving everyone in shock. The Addams revive Thing but only as a hand. (Holy lonely pony eating macaroni, that's a lot of likes!)

I love this idea so much!! It’s my personal headcannon (or handcannon if you will) that thing was once Morticia’s friend of some sort, or even a suitor His family didn’t approve of his relationship with her and even tried to kill her But thing jumped in the way, saving her life and ending his own Enraged and grieving, Morticia took his body back to her family, in hopes he could be revived. Sadly, all they could reanimate was his hand. And there you go Sorry for the bad pun and the long paragraph

For those who dont understand the story : The villagers thought that "thing" was a monster, killing and eating animals / humans(maybe?) But then after "thing" was killed, the villagers were shock that the monster was on the roof, then the magician hat, and the villagers quickly realises that they made a huge mistake by being mean and killing him, although, he was a good boy....😢

I say you should start a series of your own, I mean man literally how much good is this ..oh god well even if I compare this to other creators, this will nevertheless come in the highest of positions

씽(손가락)이 오드아이라서 괴물이라고 쫓기는 와중에 웬즈데이의 조상? 격인 여자애와 만남. 여자애가 씽을 도와줘서 함께 사는데 처음에 씽을 쫓던 사람들이 씽이 여자애(웬즈데이 조상)의 집에 있음을 알고 씽을 죽이려 함. 이 과정에서 여자애도 일에 휘말려 죽을 뻔하지만 씽이 대신 칼을 맞음. 근데 알고 보니 지붕 위에 진짜 괴물이 있었고, 사람들은 자신들이 씽을 오해했음을 깨닫지만 이미 씽은 정상적인 범주에서 벗어나 오롯이 육체를 가지고 살아날 수 없는 상황이 됨. 이후 어찌어찌 재생되어 손만 남은 씽. 현재의 웬즈데이와 만나 유사한 일을 겪으며 씽이 과거를 회상한 연출로 끝남.

Fun Facts: the thing 'the hand' has a theory that a person from the 90s one of the movie got his hand corrupted and he tried to cut it off, it's successful and the hand Left the area and killed somebody. And the hand got to the Wednesday family before Wednesday even born.

드라마는 안봤지만 굉장히 재미있을 것같네요ㅎㅎ 꼭 봐야겠어요

I always wondered about things back story, at this point he's apart of the addams family so this animation really helps give us a possible understanding of how thing came to be, unless they give a real one in the next season of wednesday.
