Okay big question. The Nurse.. Nerf or Buff?

I think all this Nurse change did was make my future solo queue random teammates use their 5th perk slot "disconnect" a lot more.

*Nerfes Nurse but adds back a 5 / 6 blink nurse which got removed in the past for being op.* "I am sure I didn't do anything wrong."

I'm telling ya the nurse does not feel nerfed in the slightest, besides the fact she can't use starstruck and so on

Now the nurse just needs a voice line: “Cheers love, the cavalry is here!”

honestly, in my opinion, it doesn't even matter if this is a nurse buff or nerf. these changes just mean she's still gonna be miserable to face, just in a different way than before

I've watched a few people play the Knight on PTB, and I knew Spooky would be the one who understands how big of a change the haste is

I love the knight. I’ve been winning a fair ratio of my matches with him with no offerings… if you turn him into an X-ray machine with all of his perks he’s deadly. Love that they made him even better.

I love that you can see whos being chased and that they show if a survivor is being picked up in the hud, so much info for solo survivors!

The patch notes for Knight had me skeptical that it would help much, but this was a good demo of how big his changes really are (currently). Im excited to see how the Knight patch turns out on stable servers

I think the nurses purple add on should make it so you have one blink.That way you still have your blink, the reverse blink and another blink. That can be interesting for loops and not be too overwhelming. Or at least only have one blink replenished after she returns.

I really like the Nurse's "Nerf".

I'm really excited to play around with the new buffed Knight. As a console player I can't play on the PTB sadly but I've heard people who have played him on it say that he feels much better to play as. This whole Midchapter Update is so good

I've always been against ragequitting, but if this new super-OP Nurse makes it to live servers, I'll DC on each and every Nurse match from now on! No one needs the old "7 blink Nurse" back, even if it's "only" 6 blinks...

They literally made nurse Tracer from Overwatch. Three "blinks", an ability that teleports you around, and a recall ability.

I've stopped playing DBD months ago (because of the toxicity in the community), yet I keep watching every video that Spookyloopz uploads. Can't get enough of that

Eyrie having alot more LoS block isn't necessarily bad for killers. If, for example, you enjoy using the undetectable perks (or are playing an oft undetectable killer, such as Wraith or Sadako), then blocking LoS is extremely useful as it will make it far harder to night impossible for survivors on a gen to notice your approach.

The Nurse changes confuse me, like yeah they nerfed her TOP tier stuff, but then gave her new REALLY good stuff? I was also expecting more addon reworks, especially so for the two iridescent. I expected the torn bookmark to be completely different, and for her to be limited to a MAX of two blinks, but no, they give her essentially seven. The Knight changes are very solid, still doesn't fix core issues with him, but that would require a full power rework. I think this will definitely encourage more "patrol style" and teamwork for him and his guards. Also still wanted the Twins rework, but that's probably gonna be in 2025 at this point.

What I'm wondering is whether you can blink when you regain a charge, then use Last breath to instantly get your 3 blinks back. Cause that would make Nurse even more oppresive

So this addon rework counters the strategy people use against nurse in the top floor of a map, which is to run at her so she's forced to cut her blink short and gets teleported to the bottom floor. She'll pop right back up with all of her blinks ready.

So how do youfeel about the boil over-esque changes to the wiggle mechanic? I noticed a nea had boil over in your nurse game and was curious about how it felt to carry her. Love your stuff my guy!

I read the title, looked at the thumbnail, and thought the Knight and Nurse were canonically hooking up.

I like that they added a pickup animation instead of guessing if the killer has knockout or scourge hook

New Nurse reminds me of Richard Braintree's ghost in Silent Hill 4. He teleported all over the place and occasionally all of his animations got reversed in chaotic broken tape kind of manner.

The haste out of the knights power may be my favourite. I try playing him but I'm just not that good. But this should really help as I think his character is just so cool in design and playstyle!

I never use nurse , I play the knight quite a bit, and the biggest downfall with him and chasing was when summoning the survivor could gain a lot of distance and then on top if it occasionally the A.I. is not to intelligent or gas gotten stuck on something during a chase. I look forward to seeing them fix the bugs because he can be a lot of fun to play.

I think jenners breath should make it ro have all your blinks back, but not thst you can immediately blink again. Maybe first go to a (longer maybe) fatigue if you use it, then restore all your charges

How to play against nurse When you hear her scream, run in the opposite directions and randomly as fuck. She can't track you if even you don't know where your going.

At 10:21 when he goes to pick up Kate Denson she says ow I don't know if this is new or I've just never noticed it but I thought I'd pointed out

i've seen japanese player using Play with Your Food and Coup d grage with the nurse, the token isn't consumed! as long you attack with the blink only. paired with the movement speed add on (red one)

also they added lights on the nurses hand showing you how many charges you have left when blinking

They should increase her movement speed since they are essentially removing a handful of perks she can use. You would never catch up to the survivor to use a basic attack to trigger those perks.

No one is talking about the map but tbh It was my favourite map and probably still is, I'm glad that back section is gone because it made the map in the larger side...but it has strong loops and I've mastered it to a tee. So it'll be fun learning the new layout... I'm sure it will be just as great from this video.

I think nurse got an even trade yes noed and perks like that won't activate on a blink but the add ons make up for that change. I'm glad they gave the knight a haste for summoning his guards it's kinda the same idea with clown's haste bottles

I haven't played pbt, but if haste is applied ever time you summon, make a speed build then spam summon to gain extra speed

Im so excited for the knight changes. I think the last thing to make knight good is remove the ability for survivors to see the detection range of the guards. Also why do guards disappear when a survivor unhooks I don’t think that should be a thing.

They buffed the way I play Knight, I'm so happy rn. Multi-tasking is soooo good.

Though I love watching the videos and lives of spooky, this video just confirms me I'm not reinstalling DBD anytime soon...

So many people saying that this is a buff, but you forget that these are ADD ONS. You have to run these together just to get the op effect. If you run neither or one over the other, it's not gonna be nearly as powerful.

"Why would you want to nerf the strongest killer in the game without giving her some buffs?" - Someone at BHVR, probably. If they release Nurse from the PTB to live servers in this state, the only thing that changes is more survivors who choose to give ups/dc the instant you hear a nurse blink. All BHVR had to do was change blinks to special attacks. That's it. That's all they had to do to see if it would be enough to give Nurse a nerf on the PTB, but in true BHVR fashion, Nurse somehow feels more oppressive and powerful when they try to "nerf" her. And that's due to them unnecessarily adding/reworking a bunch of powerful addons to counteract the nerf. Yeah, you can't use starstruck or exposed on Nurse, but BHVR brought back 6-7 blink Nurse (which they already knew was OP due to it already existing and being removed in the past). She was always going to remain one of the strongest killers in the game, as she still ignores the rules other killers are bound by regardless of the special attack change. Changing the blinks to special attacks and leaving it at that might have done something to nerf nurse overall. It's realistically probably all BHVR could possibly do to nerf Nurse without entirely reworking how her power works. So why on Earth they thought simultaneously buffing her and making her even stronger with addons was a good idea in the same PTB, I'll never know. The Knight changes on the other hand, I'm looking forward to. I've wanted to like the Knight since his release, and giving him these QoL changes to make a 2v1 killer not one of the weakest killers in the game was a good decision.

Everyone talking up nurse but frankly, this Knight change looks sick! I already used the Call To Arms to play the Knights guards like Spirit after my first hit, using hearing to see where survivors are going, but I've been limited to dropping the orb on their heads for an ensured chase with the Map Of The Realm, because of the distance loss and the fact they can do easily see me. A haste effect (that could maybe be a little bit faster), paired with the orb dissapearing allowing me to actually cut survivors off with it instead of losing chase instantly for trying it on anyone with two brain cells, AND rewarding me with faster guards for succeeding in cutting people off? It may not be "Optimal" gameplay, but I'm gonna love this once it comes to live servers Edit: Just realized, if they don't change up the Summon Jailor for Haste add-on, and that haste alongside this one stack, that could be amazingly fast. I'm 99% sure the buffa don't stack, so ya don't get both speed boosts at once, but that'd be sick

I am so excited for the changes to go live, Knight is one of my favorite killers right now, I just like the whole setting up patrols and having your minions do stuff for you play stile, and I am happy that they made that part of him better

I have an idea maybe they should remove nurse or give her the same cooldown as a missed attack when she teleports rather then the ability to counter everything the survivors are given to survive 🤷‍♂️

Off topic from the video but has anyone else been experiencing more lag than usual over the last month, doesn't seem to matter if I'm playing wireless or via ethenet cable nearly half the games I get into I have to quit as the lag makes it unplayable. (Also just to note, I do have cross platform on but it's never been a massive issue until this previous month)

Honestly I hope they take a look at nemesis with how the meta is currently and gens going faster then ever having to do 3 hits to down w his whip plus contamination having no negative effects on survivors and the only option with add ons is to make them oblivious for 60 secs cause yeah that's important mid chase , basically it takes way to long to use the whip for downs and the whole part of his kit meant to help get survivors off gens , his vaccines/supply chest r next to worthless since survivors just don't see A reason to waste valuable gen time for pretty much nothing. And I think I understand behaviors logic behind this choice, maybe they were trying to make it survivors used vaccines as little as possible so that once you contaminated them you most likely wouldn't have to again.. but then were just not really utilizing a huge part of our kit... plus zombies can at times be problematic.. and honestly you wouldn't need to do much just something since withbthe state of the game at this point anything getting them off gens is golden, just add a base effect and make like 3 or 4 actual use ful add ons while your at it

do these devs even know what the hell they are doing? lmao i still consider myself a beginner (700 hours of playtime) and it really seems like i know their game sooo much better than they do. i mean. how in 7 hells did they think they "nerfed" nurse? she just got the biggest buff ever. i think these devs partied a little too hard into new years or something and they must have been drunk when they came up with this. unbelievable.

Watch everyone whine about knight being op now. 😂 I’ve always just loved how you can quickly set his minions to patrol a generator or smack a pallet while you go check another. Or getting the rare chance to chase a survivor alongside your minion for a quick two slap. Always satisfying!

I appreciate you all abusing this on the PTB to make sure that the console players can deal with the nerf or buffs from the PTB instead of this nonsense. That should absolutely either increase fatigue time, continuously reduce the blink distance or severly increase the blink recharge time to compensate. Or perhaps they will just remove/reduce the blinks that get returned.
