HELP SO ACCURATE WTF. Boys in my class got it banned and renamed it dog in middle. Went on for about 4 months before they got caught. Teacher says she isnt stupid but didnt catch on until too late lmao
Sitting on the dark stained wood main hall floor with the projector out singing “he’s got the whole world in his hands, he’s got the whole wide world in his hands!”. Priceless. And they always wheeled in the big telly on the trolley to watch England play in the World Cup 😆
@@AgentWoof people line against the wall with one person ready to catch you then you count to three and you all run who ever gets caughts becomes a catcher as well it similar to red rover
Let me just finish that song for you Cauliflowers fluffy and cabbages green redining tomatos that used to be green brown potatoes in little heaps dow in the darkness where the celery sleeps the apples are ripe and the plums are red the broad beans are sleeping in the blankety bed !YEAH!
I remember singing assembly. Some boys would sometimes sing misheard lyrics like "in his pants he's got the whole wide world" instead of "in his hands he's got the whole wide world" 😭
Me neither... I'm 52 though however my kids are 29, 30 and 33 and none of them had any of these either although kipper rings a bell but I can't remember if it's a book I bought them or a cartoon on TV 😂
Maybe it depends on what part you're from. I went to primary school in London and the only thing she mentioned that I don't remember I'd the tea towel. My school had all the rest.
Singing assembly was both a blessing and a curse. Loved doing the songs and hated how much it hurt my throat. I actually managed to get rid of a song from the assembly roster once.
At my school the people who sang the "best" (i.e. the loudest) got to sit at the back of the hall on a bench I had to always sit next to a boy who was the worst singer but so loud so I was so excited for him to leave to the bench
Yk, they took away our golden time when the new headmistress replaced our old headmaster, and that last one… THE BROAD BEANS ARE SLEEPING IN THE BLANKETY BED!!!!
The toys they’d bring out at break and there were like 5 for 200 kids… I always remember the coloured scarves and skipping ropes that you’d play helicopter with
Cauliflowers fluffy and cabbages green, Strawberries sweeter than any I've seen, Beetroots purple and onions white, All grow steadily day and night. The apples are ripe and the plums are red *The broad beans are sleeping in their blankety bed*
Omg. We all really did have the same child hood. My tea towel is in the kitchen rn 😭. I hated that song but they always made us sing it . And the we are the children off ____ school we take the pride in the things we do. Lurning together and having fun who's for a good time EVERYONE Give it 1 hive it 2 give it 1,2,3
it's a another harvest festival Where we share our fruits and vegetables And also a celebration to say thank you to God the father It's another opportunity To be grateful for the food we eat
I knew I didn’t invent that bloody song in my brain randomly! 🙌🙌🎉 My hubby has no clue what I’m on about when I say we sang this weird garden song about veggies but he did have a weird hippy teacher that had them singing strange forgotten songs from the 60s&70s so maybe his school was the weird one! 🤷♀️😂🤦♀️
When I was at school, we sang Yellow Submarine in assembly. Also, we played games like Oranges and Lemons, and kisschase, before that got banned for obvious reasons. Tag and House 1-2-3 were also staples in the playground too.
i still know the whole song cauliflowers, fluffy and cabbages, green strawberries sweeter than any I’ve seen beetroot, purple and onions white all grow steadily day and night the b-road beans are sleeping in their blankety bed
I still remember the songs we used to sing in my primary school "shine, jesus, shine" "stay awake, *clap clap* be ready, *clap clap* you do not know the hour when the lord is coming, stay awake, *clap clap* the lord is coming soon, hallelujah, hallelujah, the lord is coming soon" 😅
CAULIFLOWERS FLUFFY AND CANNAGES GREEN, STRAWBERRIES SWEETER THAN IVE EVER SEEN, BETTROOT PURPLE AND ONIONS WHITE, ALL GROWING STEADILY DAY AND NIGHT, THE APPLES A RIPE AND THE PLUMS ARE RED, THE BROADBEANS ARE SLEEPING IN A BLANKETY BED !!! my fav primary song!! :D
