Your Nephew looks like your twin if you were in your early 20s he even sounds like you haha WHOA!!! NItrous aka NOS Balloons are legal in Thailand?????!!!! BONUS
Khaosan Road and surrounding streets was also a home for many Thais working in the hotel and entertainment industry, they had their "home" there and it was cheap, but since the pandamic the owners have changed almost all of those homes to something more expensive so for the workers there is no way back.
Sorry CP been a bit behind viewing your brilliant stuff as have been here in Khao Lak since start October feeding the mosquito population and trying to avoid the rains ! But have to say it’s great to be back again and was even running in a 5k road race and was the only Farang in the event and felt like a celeb ha ha unlike your good self who’s fame knows no boundaries !
Awesome video as always :) I love that you are revisiting this list, there are so many amazing things in Bangkok, its a shame if people dont take the chance to explore beyond things like Khaosan (even though it is a fun place to go)
On Khao San Road and along nearby Rambuttri Road and Phra Athit Road, you will find all of the most popular street food options at some of the best prices in Bangkok. Every corner and every alleyway has something new and interesting to try, making Khao San Road a particularly fun place for foodies. The best time to head out for street food is in the evening, when the temperatures are cooler. Khao San Road and the surrounding area is also a great place to pick up some souvenirs for your friends and family back home and a few special keepsakes for yourself. Go where you feel most alive. Enjoy Your Journey, find the Treasure Hidden in Every Day.
That’s the whole goal of this list. A little something for anybody and everybody. Want to have a great selection of activities, attractions, food, cultural sites, nightlife, etc. The Bangkok List to Rule them all!
👋🏼Hey Chris! Episode 17👍🏼👍🏼another awesome video! Keep them coming! Well I’m enjoying this video with a coffee ☕️your probably sleeping off your hangover or nursing it again🤣🥴🍻Cheers🥴🍻♥️🇨🇦
You really need a robe with that list, Like "Life of Brian". I talked to Mark today, he said who is this Chris guy that keeps sending messages every five minute. I told him you're a ok guy, just a little crazy. Love Khaosan Road, bring on the drinks. Me and Mark are Loving your best 25 list.
My nephew and I went to Thailand together as a rebonding experience after his father died, my brother, we spent two weeks together fuckin shit up. Our first stop was Patpong and also that Black Pagoda. it was great for an uncle and a nephew to bond like that, we didn't bump heads, but that would have been pretty interesting if we had
I’ve been to Bangkok multiple times and have never been to Khao San road. Think this video just convinced me to check it out on my next trip! Counting down the weeks!
Where is the old Khaosan road from 20 years ago. It was the place to go to sleep cheap, organize your tour, meet other fellow backpackers and pull information out of them. Pre smartphone era! Now it became a party venue, with drugs and weed sold at every 10 meters. I took my parents back to Khaosan road back in the year 2000. I won't take them there the way it is today. It was a backpackers heaven and meeting point back then, now all this is gone. So sad how tourism has killed it. And now the drugs is allowed, I have a very grim view of the future. It will attract all kinds of drug addict people, low class tourists and it will bring down the general perception of farangs to the Thai's. I see a future where the bad things will be in the news and the Thai's will start to hate farang, instead of loving them. I'm happy I saw Thailand 20 years ago. Nowadays, I stay away from these touristic areas because I can not identify myself with this mass tourism any more. Sad story.
In 96 I booked a one man trip to Thailand and obviously the first stop was Khaosan Rd. But 1 week after booking the trip I met a girl, I am now looking forward to taking the whole family to Thailand and the first stop will be Khaosan Rd to show them all my adventures.
@@JC-lu4se still worth a visit but definitely not the same. The people that were there in the early 80's would have said it wasn't worth going in 99. Things change.
You know the age group of your target audience. I would have guessed they were much too old to be even remotely interested in the world's biggest tourist trap that is Khao San Road. It was "OK" 20+ years ago, but now? No, thanks.
KSR these days doesn't resemble the spirit and tackiness that was once the greatest backpacker strip on earth as in circa pre-2000. The bollards, neon bars and general vibe I get makes it look and feel like a typical Thai bar area. Why on earth do backpackers continue to go there I wonder 🤔
@@JC-lu4se My apologies, but I don’t quite follow the meaning of your reply nor how it relates to my comment. Would you mind explaining? Young people have always flocked to Khao San. That isn’t disputed. Is Chris’s target audience Zoomers? As I stated above, I thought Gen-x was his target.
Loving this series Chirs! And its good to see a updated list as a lot has changed, not just over the past ten years but over the past three years, all because of that we shall not name 😂 Looking forward to see number one! Also thanks for all the thai words along the way 👍 keep up the great work, really informative.
I loved Khaosan road, had my best bowl of Tom Yum Soup. What I didn't like was the street vendor trying to grab your attention with those laser flashlight that showed 100 dots at your feet, quite annoying and disorientating. I would go back!!
Im from Switzerland im glad to are on place 17, i look all of your videos, when you work whit your heart people will love your video, thank you for all the beautiful content❤
Party on Khaosan Road Friday night with my local friend before flight home after long Thai visit. Unbelievable fun time at outdoor bar....people so friendly....dancing and partying all night... have to visit there again in a few months.... Tried the nitrix balloon but no effect....think some are scams...
I respect you and I admire what you have been doing with your channel, but ... I'm not a fan of the videos where you are visibly drunk or high... sorry sir, I hope to see you back clean and sober soon 🙏
There is a cool vintage night market event call Remember of night Market happening now 11-21 November 22 at The one Ratchada market …check it out if you have time that is another new cool spot in Bangkok ;)
I'm in Thailand now and will be in Bangkok in a few days staying in Bangkok until the 24th. I NEED to know the final 10 spots any chance you could help a fellow Canadian and sneak me the final 10 so I can check them out? 😀
Been there done that once :) was back in 2013. Were not drinkers but we still had a little fun there and is ok for the younger ones. Looking forward to the rest of your videos. It’s nice that there is something for everyone. Even if one or two of these are not ones cup of tea, Bangkok has so much to offer aside for the party and red light scenes. It’s a great city
@@RetiredWorkingForYou alright I’ve got my flights booked for Bangkok in med December. I will try and visit some of these sights. If I see you around I will buy you a Leo.
