Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!

I’m surprised at how many unskilled boaters are at this set of ramps. I’ve seen plenty of crowded ramps, but this one takes the cake.

And you wonder why our great state of Florida leads the country in marine fatalities. That Little Key Largo at the end had 9 people on it, way overloaded. Next July, finally, everyone will be required to pass a boating class, even if born prior to 1988.

@@mycompasslawp.a.4328that’s not going to do anything. Have you seen/taken the test. There’s basically nothing to it. It’s idiot questions. An idiots will still be idiots. A for the others that take it. Don’t truly need it an is t doing idiot things anyway. Meaning nothing on the exam. Is going to fix. ANY of this madness.

That's actually not practical because 95% of boaters would not be able to pass the test which would cause the boating industry to collapse.

I watch several channels like this and I see a common thing that a lot of boaters struggle with for some reason and I'm just curious why. I see people moving lines from one side to the other all the time. Why? How much could a few more feet of rope cost? Put lines on both sides and leave them there. Attach a piece of velcro to the side of the boat at each cleat, roll the line up, wrap the velcro around the line to stow it. Its not a difficult concept.

You dont need that many lines. Just have the people on the boat, or you yourself put the lines on while you are in the no wake zone. Obviously if you are alone you cant do that. On my skiff, i leave the lines attached to the side i tie the boat off to when i launch it. 95% of the time i rarely move them

@@bdr5150 Is there a limit? If I have 4 instead of 2, what does it matter? Its not a matter of need, but convenience. And I'm extremely happy that you get to use the same dock every time! Good for you. It rarely happens to me, however.

Only takes a few seconds to switch, no reason to have 4 lines at the ready at all times. 90% of the time, all you need is a single line at mid-cleat to get on the dock initially.

@@chris_bjj123 What a great idea! I didn't think about putting one on the mid...now I have to get two more. Lets see, it's a white boat with black and red upholstry and trim. The four lines I have now are all black, so the two new ones can be red! Thanks for the idea!

Plenty of congestion on the water but the congestion all starts with loaded craft parked on the ramp. The moment that safety chain is attached, we gotta take our rig to the carpark.

Some of these ramps are a total free for all. No rules, no courtesy. Glad I live where most boaters understand ramps are for launching and loading only, not parking or hanging out.
