I live in Ireland so I’ve spent a good few holidays in Britain with family from Britain. My main complaints are: 1. Brexit and 2. Loud cities The first is rather easy to explain because it brings a lot of problems and the second is because I have a phobia of loud noises. It triggers my anxiety so I wear headphones a lot.

Currently living in Britain and all of these are true. One of my stories is something that happened recently is all the road where I live were refurbished and for months they didn't paint the speed bumps so they amount of times cars flew over me is alot more
I always hear how bad the weather is, but every time I was there uthe weather was great 😅Not that I have anything against it but I would like to have that true British experience one day

In the UK, the government pays to fix potholes on the road In the Philippines, the government *makes* potholes and then pays money to fix them so it looks like they're doing infrastructure improvements
I also hate how where I am in Britain, I don't know about everywhere else, there are traffic lights everywhere, speed bumps everywhere and roadworks absolutely everywhere and they don't even seem to be doing anything to the road!!!

Our school system is actually fantastic compared to America and some other places. Yes, there are a few dodgy teachers and the school buildings themselves are bad, but In Scotland anyway we have amazing education

Yikes this reminds me of my college, the only bus home would leave at 4... And some of my days ended before lunch. A couple times I walked 3 hours back to my house because that was faster than waiting for the bus lmao
No one Can really know cuz they never specified and the voice is nothing to go by cuz even if it sounds a bit deep it could still be a girl ((or idk)) ((I’m a girl and my voice sounds like I’m speaking to someone I dislike on Monday at 4:00am after just waking up, not to mention it’s very quiet to most so that doesn’t help. Brit here. It pains me to say a lot of this is relateable. If only the UK was as clean as people pictured it to be. I like the whole "things I do / don't like" for countries series you've got going on. As always, nice work :D
@@zahra-jx8yn dude, public transport doesn't even exist in literally anywhere that isn't a city. I might see like 1 bus in a suburban area every 1-2 months if im lucky.
When I lived in Britain we would call the houses "copy and paste houses" And about the public transport point, that one defenatly only has something to do with the place you lived, just like you said. In Germany, I live in a smaller village and had the same problem. That train I took to school only came once an hour, so I would alway ask to leave lessons early so that I had time to run to the station (I was so glad that the teachers understood and let me go). And I was one of the lucky ones cause other villages didn't have a train station and had to take a bus that only came every two hours. I guess that's just the disadvantage of not living in a big city.
“The roads in the uk are absolutely awful” Come on over to canada, particularly newfoundland labrador. Not only do you have very steep roads on hills, cliff roads, and weather worn roads but most roads are gravel and if its the winter on those very steep hills theres gonna be lots of ice completely stopping you from making it up the hill and having to go a long way that may also be too slippery
Every country in history at some point has had this relationship with Britian. Except maybe South Sudan. And of course nations that didn't exist at the same time as Britian
I went to a different country for a month (when it was allowed and safe and all) and when I got back to Britain, I went out on my bike. On my way back, I'd been cycling down the road for about five minutes. Then I see that there is a line of cars heading my direction. Needless to say, I was more cautious after that.

I’m British and honestly it starts feeling alright after a while, you get used to the cold, I don’t take public transport, I’m near my high school (it’s about a 20 min walk) I agree with shops closing (Asda is 24 hours so that’s a plus I guess) I agree with the house thing, I live sort of close to a bunch of Victorian houses which have been modernised but not much, they still have straw on the rob layer of the roof and they have the rustic look, the litter one is definitely a problem, once I saw a kid literally dump one of those 8 can beer plastic things into the ocean. So our only redeeming qualities are that we have free healthcare and rich history
