So it's been almost 3 YEARS since I started my stationery shop and we've tried some things that I would have taken a different approach on if I got a chance to do it over again. Hope these help you guys since I see quite a few comments saying you have yet to start your shop!

I got the silhouette first (the OG silhouette!) and saw a lot of people with the cricut. Almost switched to cricut because of their colours!

The cricut vs silhouette is a huge thing for me! Thankfully I didn't spend the money on a cricut since my mom bought it for her own crafts. But with all the headaches it caused me, it was super easy to decide on the switch when buying a cutter for myself! If you know how to use any Adobe programs or similar, then Silhouette Studio is really easy to pick up! And the customization of options vs Cricut is also so amazing. I can definitely see how Cricut is more beginner friendly, but unfortunately that makes it really limited too once you get the hang of it. And all that extra printing space!! I can't recommend it enough to people debating between the two

Pretty much! That's a fair comparison on being familiar with Adobe programs. I think taking the extra time to learn the silhouette programs are definitely worth it in the long run :))

Im so glad i ordered Silhouette ( got a great deal on black friday too) instead of cricut just from watching these helpful videos, reviews and comments! The only thing that im concerned right now is that due to mail strike, parcels being backlogged and Christmas period, my Silhouette is stuck in transit for 2 weeks now...

Hi Natalie, I’m new to your channel and everything you’ve posted (starting a shop, dos and donts, etc. ) has been very helpful. Hello! I use the Epson XP-960 which is unfortunately discontinued now. I believe the newest model is the XP-970 :)

Thank you for the tips! I was on the fence about Shopify. Also, I'm thinking of getting a Siser Juliet rather than a Silhouette. Have you heard anything or looked into it?
