UPDATE: I actually figured out how to make the straps on the PSM even shorter so it works perfectly now! 😊

I have my moms vintage medium double flap that I inherited and rarely use. let’s face it, the double flap is annoying! I honestly don’t understand how people have multiples of this bag. Between the chain length, the inner flap and the discomfort of the chain unless you’re wearing a coat, at that price it’s all just about the name.

Absolutely agreed with the Chanel classic and the Givenchy Antigona. That is why am still thinking should i get the Classic Chanel in Small or Mini? As for the Speedy 25 that i had in Damier Ebene Boundelier the crease seems fine. I think is because now the canvas that they using are so much more thinner and flimsy as compared to the older ones. So not much crease for the thinner one. Is a good and bad, i supposed. In the Speedy, i wish they would have used all the same hardware not brass for goodness sake which will oxidized. Even those companies like Coach and even Samorga can use a better hardware and so much more lower price as compared to LV. Really a shame for LV although i love the Speedy. Thanks for sharing. May also do a video on this. Let's see how.

Ugh! Yes that’s why I sold my mini antigona. It fell off of me while grocery shopping right on the floor and while at the ped office again right on the floor and a couple other times while getting out of my car so I had to part with it. I love the look of it but I couldn’t deal with my bag falling off of me anymore

LV Backpack .. Quick tip re the straps that are to long for you. .. I suggest a good shoe cobbler, they could easily shorten the straps for you and would easily reattach the original hardware. Hope this is helpful.

I believe the double flap is to stop the the outer flap changing shape- it keeps rounded instead of creasing across the top.

Omg, that givenchy Antigone strap is so annoying. Same thing happened to me too. I Did notice your speedy canvas creases. My new speedy too. Hopefully it can get rid off the creases. Did you notice the piping of speedy also doesn’t look right? My new speedy also same as yours. Doesn’t look right. The vachette leather should be showing not hiding in the canvas. I don’t know if you understand what I am talking about it? Thank you so much for sharing darling. Great tag video ❤️

Idk the Speedy creases doesn't really bug me much🤔 esp I do fold them when travelling. It's one feature I do like since we travel a lot. I'm more function than aesthetic or history but I do understand it will bug others.

Beautiful bags. Thank you for sharing. If your zipper head tip, on that love letter compartment, has a little square shape ‘hole’ like mine, you can thread a little ribbon through that zipper head hole, tight around that area a few rounds, that zipper head won’t scratch your inner flap anymore.

Great video - honest assessment on imperfections of luxury! My observations: 1. Agree with classic flap! But I’m short, so crossbody works for me though. 2. Chanel WOC: I wish it were a little bigger, full back pocket that wasn’t so tight and fewer compartments inside. Which turns it into another bag. Lol. 3. LV Pochette Métis: Wish it had a magnetic clasp. Current clasp is hard to open and close. 4. LV vachetta straps: Can tear at stress points. 5. YSL Bellechase and Université are heavy!

I use MonaLisa pocket for cards, very comfortable ~ love it~ but I absolutely agree about strap, I also cant wear it crossbody^^ I dont like coach hardware, where it holds strap, on all my coach bags it often open by itself...I made wear&tear video about YSL new model bag and mentioned this moment in comparing ~

Might get some hate on this comment but I actually use a blow dryer on the creases of my Louis Vuitton canvas bags. Medium heat and not too close to the bag. Gets the crease out amazingly and doesn’t seem to damage the bag at all.

The way they fold up the speedies is just BAFFLING. And then they give you this tiny useless dustbag to go with it, as if I am going to store my bag that way? Do they not realize how unsightly the creases are? It was not always that way -- I have two speedy 30 bags from 2006 and 2008 and each one came with a very generously sized drawstring dustbag so that you can store your speedy properly stuffed!

I bought a these little “buckles” from amazon that help with the antigona strap issues. I found them on amazon. You can barely tell there is an exrtra piece holding the 2 d-rings together.

What happens to your Givenchy Antigona also happens in my alma bb. But not when I'm wearing it. It happened to me twice, before getting out of the car and getting into the car. Luckily it didn't fall on the ground! 😬

Im just not a handle bag person whetherits the LV speedy and birkins. Its beautiful but I rather do Chanel. Dont kill me guys. I understand classics but not for my lifestyle. I love versatility of bags.

I’m with you. Top handle bags don’t really work for me either and I rarely reach for them. Crossbody is my #1 fave way to wear a bag! 😉 Thanks for watching!
