Girl the number of times I searched videos that could help me because lately I’ve being having trouble really finding my size and style and I came across your videos and I’m loving it 😍 thank you
Discovered your channel today and I’ve been binge watching your videos. I realized somethings you’ve sworn off completely are actually pieces I should start wearing myself because I have a different body shape to yours. I’m glad you make these videos.
Awww thanks sweetie! Welcome to my channel! I love that you get value from my video even though we have different body shapes. Happy binge watching! ❤️
This is spot on. I’m 5’2 (I wish i has more hips like you but i got thighs lol) and subconsciously have moved away from these items as well. Earlier this year when Kahlana’s line dropped at target I wanted the shirt dress she realized badly but I just know i never wear mine. Same thing with pencil skirts. Now you have me on the hunt foe statement shades.
OMG 🙌🏾 there you said it. About pencil skirts, they just don’t agree with my body structure too. I admire them from afar though, from people who can pull them off. Recently discovered your channel and Loving it so much .
girl, same over here. Not for me. And there's power in knowing what suits our bodies the best. Thanks for subbing and I see you've been binging. I love it so much! ❤️
Hey Thessely, I don't wear pencil skirts either, because they're comfortable if you have thick thighs. However, it is a piece I secretly wish looked flattering on me. I agree that they have a dated 1950's era look to them, but on the other hand I think they look so chic and sophisticated. They're my forbidden love😜. Always appreciate you sharing my friend ❤️. Take care and have a wonderful week ahead 🤗💕.
My takeaway from this is that you don't anything that is form fitting on your bottom half because it would accentuate your (very beautiful) curves. Totally agree on the white jeans and camis. I gave mine away years ago and never regretted it. Striped tops always reminds me of someone working on a fishing boat lol.
I found my self during the video saying … yep.. yep .. yep ALOT!!! Im pear/hourglass but with a bit of belly@ 5 ft… and I totally agree with you on these… lolol… thinking about the items right now in my closet and have not touched!
I gave up on white jeans long time ago, just not flattering on my pear shape. I prefer wide leg linen trousers as well. I agree no🚫3/4 sleeves!!! I feel the same about some 3/4 pant lengths - ankle and cropped.
Hello Thessely Thank you for sharing your information. If you could continue this theme and share the things you stopped buying in regards to Autumn and Winter style clothing I would appreciate that.
I agree with you on everything. I've never worn any of my shirt dresses and pencil skirts (I'm 47, but I feel like a business woman or a lawyer - which I'm not - in this kind of skirt, and I'm still young at heart and free spirited...). A white jeans is not practical for the very hot summer in my country and it also makes me look bigger than I am. What do you think about long skirts with a long slit (such as the Sophie Skirt by Sezane)?
I have a denim pencil skirt and a leopard pencil skirt but I absolutely do not wear them with heels I wear them with my Flyknit vapormax or Air Force Ones and a graphic t-shirt tiied up on the side and you're right when I come up to stairs it's a little restricted I always have to hike it up a little bit I have one pair of white jeans I haven't worn in 2 years lol but my white stretch pants with my Snoopy shirt I love it LOL I agree with you about the shirt dresses now I thrifted a gingham print button up shirt dress and I only now wear with a sports bra and my leggings or biker shorts and I leave it open I also don't like the mixing print look it's just too much it looks like chaos to me LOL But I can't give up my big Shades because I got a barber cut and I need them to help balance my peanut head out now. In the quarter length sleeves remind me of church lady Vibes I don't like that
hahahahah girl I love this comment. I'm so happy that you resonate with a lot of what I mentioned, but that you also know what fits you right. Wear your big glasses mama!
