Happy happy Wednesday 🎶🤗 It’s still hot these day here in Japan. But morning and night is getting less humid and warm. Autumn is definitely getting close 🍂 I am so glad I got my To Do list done before autumn 🍂 comes 🎶 How about you? Do you have anything wish list before the season ends ?

Just finished cleaning out the tomato plants. Getting ready for fall greens. We grow mustard greens and purple top turnips. We eat the whole turnip plant. So delicious, healthy and filling. I have one more thing I need to do before I switch to autumn mode. I'm gonna fry the last of the green tomatoes. I found a couple small ones as I cleaned out the plants. They won't go to waste. Here it's raining so we can't do much things but yah in India 10 days fastival is there called ganpati Bappa so every Indian peoples are enjoying it there is back to back fastival so it's not boring BTW how are you doing sister 💜💜💜

Hi Linna, you can replace Agave Syrup with Maple Syrup or Pure Honey. It the same quantity as the agave would be. :)

You can use honey as a substitute. Agave is thinner in consistency but they are about the same sweet!

As everyone has said, honey or Maple syrup can be used in place of Agave. Agave is made from a plant, so it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans too

Hi, my dear Linna! The agave syrup is Mexican product, i use it for my late. But you can use honey or maple syrup. Agave syrup is not very sweet like honey, but it is very tasty. I love it😊 big hugs from Bulgaria ❤😊

Hello, from Korea! I don't know what recipe it is, but it seems to recommend agave syrup instead of sugar for healthy. I think you can use オリゴ糖 instead of agave syrup.

In the US I sub honey or maple syrup for agave syrup. It amazes me the size of the fruit in Japan. I have never seen peaches or grapes that large. Though the cost is much more in Japan, the size is double or triple ours! Thanks for sharing. We love yakisoba, I’m going to make a trip to our Asian grocery store to see if I can find the seasoning. Our Worcestershire sauce isn’t nearly as thick so I’m hoping they carry an imported type!

Hi Linna! You can replace agave syrup for maple / corn / rice syrup. Honey has too much flavour and could modify the taste of the dish. But this is up to you 😊 Greetings from Catalonia

I would use apple or monkfruit syrup in place of Agave. It is similar in viscosity and sweetness. You could use honey, that is sweeter & a thicker viscosity. Maple syrup also sweeter.

Here summer has really ended. It's rainy, we had the first autumn storm last week. And it's suddenly around 18 C and the nights are cold. My daughter is looking forward to making stamppot again. It's a Dutch potato based dish. Cooked potatoes are mashed with vegetables and you eat it with smoked sausage, pork belly or meatballs. There are a few traditional ones like with kale, carrot and onion , saurkraut, but you can use any vegetable. She likes a broccoli and cheese one. My husband likes it as well. I never thought about making a coffee jelly drink with one of those instant packages. what a great idea! much easuer to make that way. I'm not sure but I think you can use a simple sugar syrup you van make yourself instead of agave syrup. I had the same dinner idea as you; tonight I'm making yaki soba and kara age :) Your package is to thoughtful :) I still do the same for my host family I lived with when I first came to Japan 20 years ago. I remember there kindness so well. And even now when I can I go visit. It was so nice seeing them again this summer after almost 4 long years.

Hi Sweet Linna! What a wonderful friend you are for sharing your sauces that you got from Malaysia and writing down all of the ingredients in Japanese for her. What a kind generous true friend you are. It's very hot here in Central Florida near Disney World is where I live. I wish we had some of the flavors of ice cream that you buy. They look very yummy. I am in Fall mode. I want to get some Fall food we have - maple leaf cookies- apple cider - apple cider donuts - raspberry chocolate strudel - pumpkin cake roll - pumpkin loaf bread. I am getting ready to bake an apple cake it is very delicious. It's different from the one you made. My Mom gave me the recipe. If you would like the recipe I will give it to you. I love all of your videos. Your sons are adorable. you can honey or apple syrup ( boil apple juice until it becomes thick this will then become apple syrup) instead of agave syrup

om korean cooking, they usually use Yeongwol Nonghyup (Korean Rice Syrup) or Corn Syrup. Its a little odd for me to see a korean cook book asking for agave syrup but rice or corn syrup should work as a substitute.

As a replacement for agave syrup I think honey will work just fine. The flavor might be slightly different but I think it should still work. Ps. Thanks for always making such interesting videos

the heat might be causing the distress of your geraniums - where I am 🇨🇦 it’s been dreary dull and damp all summer (all year 😕) and yet my geraniums have thrived 🤷‍♀️ have lost several of my houseplants from poor sunlight but plants on my north facing balcony have all thrived - it’s an explosion of leafy greens - hopefully your geraniums survive 🤞
