To answer who is ash’s dad, we have to eliminate each of the possible solutions one by one. Giovanni is silvers dad and therefore cannot be ash’s dad. We now have 3 options left. Mr mine can’t be ash’s dad since Pokémon can’t breed with humans and as far as we know mr mime could be female. Silver can’t be the father of ash because silver lives in Johto and ash’s mom lives in kanto. By process of elimination we can confirm that Brock is in fact ash’s father.
