You criticise Scales for six minutes solid, rightly so agree fully, but don't mention Cals passing, passing to no one, losing the ball in poor areas, panicking several times in the middle resulting in breaks to Killie. This has been season long bar a few games. Drop the Captain special privilege chat and actually watch him. He hides, offers himself to the CBs and then passes it straight back to them. Had a chance to play Maeda and Kuhn through, and played both passes behind them. He is as guilty as Scales.

This is 99% on Brendan Rodgers, he has a squad that is far better than every other team bar rangers! If you could do an experiment and bring ange back for our run in dose anyone actually think that he wouldn’t be able to get significantly more out of the squad and his style of play and tactics wouldn’t be 1000% better! I’m sick of celtic fans putting this mask on like they don’t have a problem with Rodgers, I’m certain the majority of fans didn’t want him back and when he came back as soon as we had a poor run the pressure was going to be massive. the only transfer that was a problem was the transfer of brendan rodgers back to celtic. if we scouted a manager correctly then the level of players we were reduced to would not have looked so bad. the contracts are also a problem because we're settling for who we've got when we should be moving people on for smaller amounts of money but more frequently so we still make more money in aggregate

Right 20 Minute Tims what's your opinion of mass boycott of the club shop? While all these trebles are wonderful. They paper over cracks. Even if we win this title, we can't see this as success. We need to address the failures at the core club. Season ticket boycott won't work. Our fans media should be leading how we back the team in immediacy, but moving forward how challenge the board for real change. We should never forget it was a few fanzines that started the "Sack the board" movement in the 1990s. If we was boycott all merchandise until we see change from transfer to matchday experience. Formation (4-4-1-1) at home, too negative - should almost always be (4-3-3) Defence- Scales and Welsh shouldn't be our defensive partnership - use the CB's we have signed Bernabei shouldn't be allowed to even see the pitch even on a TV screen Midfield - McGregor, O'Riley and Bernardo Attack - Maeda left, Kyogo Front, Palma Right (Change Left and Right when needed) Tactics - Run! Get to the by line and get the ball in for Kyogo and give him more service, shoot more outside of the box, and when the other team are attacking EVERYONE ACCEPT KYOGO AND THE OPPOSITE PLAYER FROM THE ATTACK SHOULD BE BURSTING THEIR ASS TO GET BACK. Means we have more to defend but 2 outfield to find if we turn over possession. Narwrocki needs a chance as his attacking passes are a big strength. Also yes Bernabei can't ever play at Left back when any game is in the balance.He is out the door soon so we just have to make the best of it. Motherwell is a massive game now isn't it.

The problem is we could still win this league, while being useless. Which shows how shocking the league is. And maybe we will get another manager, and maybe we will play better and win the league. Or maybe not. We can also play relatively decent and lose the league by a point or two. But no matter the outcome, one guarantee is we will be crap in Europe. But the fans won't mind too much as long as we play well and win domestically. Fans never see the bigger picture. As a life long fan, I just don't care about any narratives around us domestically. Europe is the only play where improvement is a must.

I don't have much, if any, belief in them to turn things around. We've had guys like Haksa and now Abada who down tools. The writing is on the wall for this season by the looks of it.

On senior players. The problem is there’s not enough of them. Taylor isn’t a leader. I would argue he’s only in the team because of our successive failures in recruiting LBs. Hart & McGregor are on their own. Surrounded by wee guys. A few good players like Hatate, CCV, and O’Riley don’t come across as leaders.

I’ve commented on one of your subscribers post regarding transfers…..i believe that over the last 8-10 years the Celtic board would rather spend 20 million on 10-12 players in the hope of that Jota money rather than 20 million on the 3 or 4 positions that your squad was screaming out for in the January window. IF and I say IF (as this league is a million miles away from being over) rangers win the league, I believe the lack of spending in they key positions yous were screaming out for will almost certainly cost you the title this year. And IF that happens and we get the champions league money up for grabs this year, this will level the playing field in Glasgow for years to come. One thing I will say is that regardless what the outcome of the league Phil will gut this squad out of the dross we have and our board will invest heavily for another battle next season on all fronts. I think the younger generation are not used to this and this showed with the fans fighting in the stands at Aberdeen. My good friend who is a tic supporter and in his mid 40’s said that Parkhead is a cauldron of hatred as the old school are fighting with the young team and add the green brigade into the mix it’s horrible to sit and watch so I’m not surprised the players are feeling the heat. This was the case for us and sitting in Ibrox on the day Aberdeen beat us in Beales last game, I know exactly how they must feel. Now the tables are turned and when I go to Ibrox every other week and also away games the atmosphere is completely different. It’s electric and feels like a European game every time our players walk on the park.

Kyogo has became ineffective, Hatate was terrible pre injury, Nawrocki might come good Scales isn’t Celtic level Taylor is a very limited player Welsh is crap Ralston is crap Johnstone (RB) i’d cash in 3 Koreans are dugmeat Palma is generally crap Abada has checked out Hart needed upgraded last year Maeda works hard but is shite Could go on and on, trouble is some of the above can have a good game or two against domestic shite and folk over rate them off the back of it.

Used to think BR spoke well if nothing else. However as this 7 point lead has been gradually frittered away he has changed from still being confident about winning the league to saying things like he cannot control what other teams (Rangers) are doing. This is obviously not true because if we had won games we should be winning given our resources compared to Killie, Motherwell, Aberdeen etc then it wouldn't matter what Rangers are doing.

Brilliant as always team. Completely agree that Scales is a massive part of the problem and has been all season. The main reason for our slow play is on his shoulders. Good defender when our backs are to the wall - the same as Starfelt was and look at the grief he got. Difference is that Starfelt is simply a better player so could play the ball out with a bit more speed (whilst looking awkward).

All the stats and data point to a Rangers title win, but there are other variables that the data from the last 20 games doesn't include. First of all Rangers have fixture congestion with the Europa League, CCV, Hatate and Boost us and then also Rangers will feel the pressure at some point and have injuries of their own to deal with and also Rangers wingers are horrible and worst than ours and their strikers are inconsistent. So the forecast data from performance strongly points to a Rangers title victory, but as I say that data doesn't include variables that tilt in our favour.

great chat guys, i am not sure what the celtic data guys are doing or whether they are being listened to, but i was flabbergasted that rodgers went for 442 again, against killi . the take away from the st m game was they , st m, drew 30 all in midfield transitions into attack with celtic . this is unheard of , because celtic win this type of metric with daylight second , ever since ange walked in the door. killie didnt do as well in transition , except for their goal , but they managed to either win momentum or neutralise celtics momentum for 57 minutes out of 90. i have a metric that correlates possession with game momentum, and the definition of success is when momentum either match's or beats possession in percentage terms . celtic over 70% possession, but had only 40% clear control of the game. this all pointed to, celtic arent good enough to get away with playing 2 dedicated mids even in the league , and with killi , they just man marked calmac with their slowest player mind you, vassell, stopped palmas lateral movement , kept the defensive line well outside the box , and with orily getting less touches than usual in the box , the inevitable happened . with 442 theres supposed to be a trade off in more possession in the box , but celtic only managed 10 more touches in the box relative to killi, with over twice the number of passes in the final third . the other trade off in having one less mid is someone in the backline has to make up for the short fall in passes into the final third . the fullbacks will naturally contribute with their inverting , but relying on scales or welsh to provide good distribution , is asking for trouble for celtic the trade off clearly isnt worth it , but unfortunately the win against st m masked the realiity . st m should have scored , and killi did. mind you had palma made better decisions in the first half celtic could have had a bigger lead , but mcinnes would argue had a few far post headers killi won landed differently could have been even stevens at half time and killi win . if everyone took their half chances , odds are celtic win , just celtics data curse this season is this . when ever hatate doesnt play , and palmas and orilies combined expected assists + goals in the game are below 1 , celtic have dropped points . against killi palma and orily managerd .89. right now in the absence of hatate , stop palma and orily , you pretty much stop celtic . whats particularly troubling about this result is , killi had their slowest player man mark calmac and not very well, and they didnt man mark orily , and they still got away with a result . had heaps more I could have prattled on about , but that will do for today, keep up the great work

As bad as we are. I still fancy us in the BIG games. We cannot afford anymore slip ups. Ibrox in April will be a tough game and I expect no change with the fans situation. If they win that I think its as good as done. But if we can get a result there then it will be game on. I think they will drop points between now and then too. This will make it all the more sweeter when we win it (optimistic to say the lest hahaha)

Rodgers had the majority of this season to get this squad to click,and has failed badly in my opinion,his style very slow and predictable,and no wonder our front players looking lost,as our backline playing to safe going forward,and generally pass backwards instead of looking for runs and forward passes

we're not in a position to hire any manager and just give him what he needs to succeed. we have limited tools, limited players so we need to select the manager carefully who can use them and minimise their weaknesses. rodgers' penchant for control in games maxmises their weaknesses

Whatever happened to the “reconstruction” of the football department back in 2021? Was put on the back burner after Anges first transfer window. BR himself is even quoted saying we needed a director of football when he was the Leicester manager in 2021 after Lennon was sacked.

We’re a team full of players who shirk responsibility. The main reason I’ll defend palma despite his wastefulness etc is he’s about the only one willing to take responsibility and he does it non stop. It’s not his fault that 90% of attacks go through him because of this. McGregor and Scales only goal is get the ball to palma so they don’t have to take responsibility themselves

Board are culpable. Lost quality re injuries to CCV, Hatate. Jota, Starfelt and Mooy gone and replaced with players who at best would be minor bench players over the last two years. Also Callum and Joe Hart nearer the end surrounded by Duds. Lucky the standard of the League this year is poor. You can blame the Manager but the players he has at his disposal are below par.

Said it all season. Our centre backs are the issue. When taylor inverts you really dont have an excuse as a celtic centre back not to hit midfield. Earlier in the season the midfield was a lot more active in looking for the ball to be released quickly, it often ended with oriley with his head in his hands after not getting thebball. That movement is gone now because its pointless

Are players agents taking our scouting team for a ride and falsley ramping up the value of their players, knowing that Lawell Jr are so naive and their due diligence is so poor. Kuhn is a perfect example, did they actually go and see this guy before offering a 5 year contract.

Managers always have players "they can trust". I'm sure Jamie mentioned it in a previous episode. Sadly, I think Scales falls into this bracket and is close to undroppable for Brendan. How did we get here? The back four lately have been middle of the Scottish Premiership level and Idah could be at Ross County, Motherwell or St Johnstone on loan and wouldn't look out of place.

About 80% of that squad don't look up to it and no matter how well coached they are will never be good enough. Won't be easy to get rid of these duds so no matter how much money we have it isn't going to mend itself short term imho.
