Please everyone, #stayhome. It's just like Kim said, it's not only about whether it's safe or not for you to travel, but you might unknowingly be a carrier. Do not take the risk of spreading the virus! Please 🙏🏻
I love what you did and combined the Korean style vlog with your usual vlogs, like its the best of both worlds almost! Love how a lot of the parts have an ASMR kind of feel to it. So satisfying to hear
I really loved the cooking part of this video! Like everyone else is saying, it was really calming & relaxing. I so far enjoy this new vibe you're going for 😊
I also cancelled my trip to Japan. Supposed to go there next month (06.April to 16.April) because of the corona virus. Stay safe everyone. Sending good vibes from Sydney.
Love the Vlog! I think it is important that you are happy with what you are putting up too and not forced to stick to one type of way of vlogging~~ I love that your channel makes us feel connected to you and all the updates/ chats you have throughout the videos
Wow, loving this new format! It’s comfy and relaxing with the nice background music, but also dynamic enough to keep my focus on the video. And it has a lot of personal touch and connection! ✨
I like this vibe on your vlog. I also liked the previous ones where we see you walking around and travelling because it felt like we were there as well. I think vlogs are meant for that. However this kind of editing makes you feel a lot more relaxed and reading the little notes you make gives it a more “aesthetic” look I guess? :)
Same. I live in Canada and my city isn't in lockdown (yet), but schools and a lot of businesses are closed or are take-out only. I got some school work to do, but I have a hard time focusing at home. With libraries closed and other 'study' spots too I'm mostly spinning my wheels. :(
I think the chilled out vibe to the vlogs is a nice idea, especially in this moment when everything is all about panic and chaos. It's been quite difficult to stay calm and not worry so much.
Calm videos sound great right now. I would like to see more cooking, decluttering, organizing, try all the PR gifts that you are going to keep. An i repeat: more cooking videos. That looks yummy. Stay safe Kim
I am in love with your vlog channel ... maybe I should say it more often. 😊 you are one of my favorite vloggers! To me your videos are never boring. I love hearing you chatting and talking about random things and things going on in your mind 😊🍀
Yes, I love ❤️ the relaxing and lifestyle vlogs like this one please do more Kim. Thank you for the videos and your advice about quarantining from the Coronavirus. Please everyone be safe and stay home. Look forward to watching more relaxing and lifestyle videos.
I'm loving this new concept. I have been following your channel for forever and my way of living and preferences changed as well. I'm way busier and when I watch vlogs it's usually during work on a second screen, and I'm super interested in this more relaxed vlog style. It seems to match my 'new' lifestyle more.
Love this format! I’ve been binging these types of videos lately (they help with my anxiety and insomnia) and it’s a really nice coincidence that you decided to change things up right now🥰
I am sooooo in love with relaxing korean vlogs! I really enjoy these kind of videos and i would be very happy of you start to make these kind of videos , Kim! ❤️😍😍😍☺️👍🏼
I completely understand wanting to try new ideas for your channel. Change is important for you to stay inspired and to grow your audience. As long as the segments of no talking are not too long, no problem it is calming. Otherwise it will look like a ASMR video with no narrative or too much of the head out of frame. Balance is key. You are smart to have the courage to make changes because other channels get into a creative ruts.
I enjoy these more calm/chill vibe vlogs. I love the skin care and cooking part. :) Maybe you could do one of you opening PR packages - the textures of opening, swatching, etc would be interesting.
I would have traveled to Japan today but they canceled my return fly. I've been waiting for this trip for 20 years. I wanted to celebrate my birthday . 😔
I'll watch whatever you post! 😜 I really like seeing you attend events! Much love from Texas!! PS you're a great videographer! Like the style and shots you take! We'll get through this! 💞
Happy that some self care and joy goes into your new video changes, I personally liked the cooking segment so I’m excited to see if you’ll treat us to see any other relaxing at-home hobbies of yours. The more active it is, the better.
Yeah that's my plan! Because I have to stay home more now (well to be honest, I was always staying at home a lot so not much is changing haha) I can show you guys what I do in my spare time!
We are all together in this. Was supposed to go to Europe this year april/may but it isnt looking good. If you are stuck in a rut, perhaps explore some environment friendly tips for us young people on the go. It is on trend and beneficial for followers. Lots of love from Perth
I like your new style of vlogs. They’re really nice! Totally keeps it, especially since you really like it better. I think you should always put out content you’re happy with than one that you aren’t. (:
I think its up to you and what makes you happy in regards to how you do your videos. You've always been so helpful in your tips and travel vlogs that it helped me to plan a good time when I travel. I support whatever your decision 100% and I look forward to more of your vlogs
Love the new format, it's really much relaxing to watch and much organized plus special thanks to your husband, Eric's spaghetti recipe gonna try that 😂🍝🤤
I like this style its reallt aesthetic and relaxing. I am keen for more vlogs even if you are just at home and living your every day normal life. I have followed you for a few years now and I'm not going anywhere. 🥰
Hey Kim! I really love the korean vlog style, so for me it would be a good change. But also I really like the chatting you have with us, guessing we can have that on your main channel? 😊❤ good luck to everyone, for this strange 2020.
I’m glad you like it! Before I would only film when I go out to events and it would end up looking like all I ever do is go to events when I’m actually at home most of the time haha
If you enjoy editing these types of vlogs keep going! I think it's always refreshing and interesting to try something new. I personally like your "hectic" vlogs 😁 They motivate me to be active and it's cool to follow you around on your adventures. But I think these days where the world is pacing down, it's the perfect time to experiment with a calm vlogging style and it's probably the perfect style for chill day at home vlogs 😊
This kind of vlog is very nice to watch. It became calm because you dont have events to attend to. Your previous vlogs were days full of events that you have to fit in 1 vlog so you have difficulty in editing. If you have full of events in 1 day, you can have part 1 and part 2 instead of forcing it to fit in 1 vlog and the important part of the said vlogs were missing already.
i think it works on korean vloggers bc they don't talk in between shots but like. you can do the same but the "asmr" feel is broken between shots when you talk. :(
About changing the channel format - if you aren't happy with it, then it _has_ to change, because viewers will pick up on that, and because your happiness matters. About travel to Japan (or anywhere) - it's not so much the destination for me as the travel itself, i.e., I don't want to be stuck in a plane using 50% recycled air when someone onboard might be sick. Cheers and I look forward to seeing what you do with the channel!
Yeah I agree! The last couple of vlogs I didn't like how they were filmed so I took a lot longer to edit them which shouldn't have happened. This one was a lot quicker since I enjoyed editing this footage! Yeh I agree, that was one of the main reasons why I cancelled on Japan, I didn't want to be stuck in a plane for 9 hours with recycled air. I don't think I can travel for at least another 6 months which sucks but we'll just see how things go!
Hi Kim! I’m from Japan and love your videos. I’d like to suggest for you to make more videos about the life in Australia since a lot of your followers are from overseas. When I move to Japan, your videos help me a lot so I thought maybe a Australian version could be helping people who already are there or others who have interest in going to Australia. Congratulations for your wedding, and see you on next video...
I’ve always thought it is better to err on the side of caution, so I’d never argue with you for canceling your Japan trip. Perhaps if things settle down you’ll be able to go on your South Korea trip. Be well to you & Eric, your families, friends, and loved ones. Hopefully this scare will fizzle out and life will get back to normal quickly
