Coldest temps in country always a toss up between mount Washington and Stanley Idaho. One time it was below freezing in July in Stanley. Absolutely stunning in the Saw Tooth mtns but cold!
Gosh! All so true! I didn't even know other states don't carry fry sauce till a couple of months ago. I find it to be one of the weirdest things! Fry sauce is delicious!
Chantel x0x0 Yes. Yes it is. Im in Idaho falls, idaho there's been a ton of times the weather is completely different on the opposite side of town. It's crazy
Chantel x0x0 when l lived in Boise l remember a storm that picked me up off the ground...10 minutes later it was nice again. It's not as bad as Minnisota...l didn't see golf ball sized hail. I moved all around the country but lived in ldaho from the time l was 10 to 30
Holy 🐄... I'm in Arizona, we have crazy monsoon storms. But not bipolar weather like that... Its pretty there. Would like to visit sometime like in spring💟😺
Oh and quick hack, if you want homemade fry sauce and you are at a fast food restaurant that doesn’t have fry sauce, get mayonnaise and ketchup and mix it together and boom! Fry sauce
@@brianjordan2192 fry sauce was actually invented in Utah at a fast food restaurant called Arctic circle and replying to your other comment television was invited in Rigby Idaho I know you posted this a long time ago but I love talking about my home state lol😀
2:35 omg this happened to my brother once! We were out of the states and my brothers like "can I get some fry sauce" then we had to explain to him that fry sauce only exists in Idaho. The same happened when he asked the waitress for a straw for his drink XD
@@ChickentNug my parents were born and raised in Idaho and I was raised here in Idaho after being in Washington from 3 to 9 years old. Sometimes wish I was never brought back here 😂
Bro I was talking about fry sauce the other day online and people gasped at me like I was some heathan lol fry sauce is fire it’s even better if you put some liquid smoke in it but just a little bit!
Fry sauce I have been making it for years I used to call it secret sauce the way I would make it was best food mayonnaise if you have it and ketchup for frys or tater tots mix two table spoons mayo one tablespoon ketchup.
I’m from Idaho born and raised (northern) and yes there is mustard in fry sauce. Very little compared to the ketchup and mayo. I’ve worked at many restaurants around here and they all made their own version but the good ones have many ingredients such as, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, even a little pickle juice and paprika and maybe a tiny bit of horseradish.
Bruh I wanted to get my mom a shirt that had Idaho on it and it said no vacancy (we seriously don't stay out of here Californians) and instead it showed a short that had idaho but was labeled Ohio
How I've always seen it (as an idahoan) is they don't have the same respect for nature around here and they treat it here the same way they treat Cali, and a lot of them are rude, but I am not speaking for all Californians, I've met some amazing people from there.
Because a large portion of people moving to Idaho are from California. That, and the fact that the two states are on opposite sides of the political spectrum.
There are a ton of people from bigger states moving here and they all want to change stuff. They've also significantly affected traffic in IF just within the last 5 years. It sounds insignificant but it's actually pretty annoying
anthonydisney honestly, bit very much. My whole school had like 2 black kids in all and they never get judged and we ahve a kid from Guatemala and all everyone wants to do is be fiends with him. Howboay racism isn’t a big problem like at all here, it atleast in Idaho falls
Depends on your definition of racism. Most folks won't go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome but they also aren't going to bend over backwards for you either. If you are ok with adjusting to Idaho culture (mostly live and let live) you will be fine. But if you expect anything approaching special treatment you will not enjoy your time here.
From my experience in school in rural idaho, people make a lot of racist jokes, but I've never seen someone excluded from friend groups because of race or anything. People are generally pretty chill and accepting here. Also there is a pretty big hispanic population here, so it isn't as big of a deal as you probably think. I get this comment is 4 years old, but if anyone is curious reading it, I'm replying for them
Idaho wearher is bipolar? Aww that's cute....ummmmm try Florida...it will Rain hard then stop, an hour later it will drizzle, 5sec later it will be sunny, rain again, then rain while it's Sunny, itll be freezing cold in the morning then by 12:00pm be blazing hot, like die from a heatstroke hot all in the same day... it's Crazy lol =)
Was at my friends trailer house, one window was just a blizzard other window was extremely sunny granted it was only like that for 20 minutes but it was extremely strange
A couple weekends ago in Southeastern Idaho it snowed and then the temperature went up to 70°F and for the past few weeks it's been pouring rain on us for hours at a time with tornado warnings and then the rain stops and it shoot up to 80°F after like 30 minutes, gotta love it here in Idaho 😊
You're probably talking about the extreme south of the state, and even with that, Idaho is still 82% White..."hardly any" relative to the rest of the country. And other regions, like 7-8 hours north from Boise, are 90-95% White
