I think this is a different course to Peebles golf course which is apparently a great course as well. Peebles is a great little town and not far from Melrose which is another great little borders town with plenty to see. Another wonderful video One additional nugget: especially with irons, play the club where you can reach your target with a smooth 80% swing, you are far more likely to make a good contact that if you are straining to hit it really hard

Have you found that you dramatically saved strokes changing your putter? People note this when using a LAB DF3, or some of the newer zero torque putters, they saw dramatic improvement. But in your experience did you ever experience this? To me this will make or break a 90 score as I have had many rounds where my GIR was over 50% but had multiple 3 putts.

Hi Andy, I'm pretty new to game. By that I mean it's my second attempt. About 25 years ago I took up golf casually. I played once a fortnight with friends. It was more about the pints afterwards than golf and I never had a HC. I couldn't put my left hand on top for proper grip(I'm a former hurler and it felt so wrong) so struggled with long clubs for years. I then switched to lefty to allow my right hand to stay on top but injured my back shortly after switch so quiet quit the game. I returned this summer after 18 years and I'm playing off left. To get around back issue I came across "the single plane swing". I've been trying it out but with limited success. I followed a RU-vidr who coaches it. I've recently came across another swing technique on RU-vid called" the easiest swing" it looks less taxing on the back. What's your independent opinion on these techniques? Any feedback would be welcome. Thks
