thank you girls for this podcast 💛, sierra has been such a great “big sister” to me (in my delusional mind lmao) for years now. and the addition of riayn, paloma, jess, and jadyn has just been something i never knew i needed. i appreciate you girls so much 💓💓💓 so if you read this thank you again for the entertainment, distraction, and most of the time a relief from my anxiety.
This episode made me realize how many icks I chose to ignore in a past relationship. 🤢 Unfortunately, Sierra is guilty of one of my biggest icks for clapping after the movies! But the way she just owns it had me laughing so hard. It also made me realize how guilty I am of saying Paloma’s “that’s crazy” when uninterested in a convo 😂
Sierra's comment about girls doing the splits made me laugh so hard. Went to school with 2 girls who would drop down into the splits LITERALLY every chance they got !!
I went to school with a girl who was seriously into ballet. She did that but it wasn’t obnoxious because she was literally just trying to stay limber throughout the day before practice and didn’t make a big deal about it at all.
I had to come back and comment that of my biggest icks is when people, specifically men (bc I swear I’ve only ever seen men do this including my dad growing up), spit on the ground in public. If a guy did this on a date, idk if I could make it through the entire thing. Nothing tops this ick for me honestly 😂
About the sticky ick: A line from ICarly that for the STRANGEST reason has stuck with me since childhood is Freddy's mom saying "wet and sticky is very icky, sticky and wet makes mommy upset" so there's your quote for that ick 😂
SIERRA you have no idea i’ve been saying that about ponchos my whole life and as a kid i literally would go “ugh poncho people” when people would do ponchos on splash mountain, like it’s a whole joke with my family my sister even texted DID YOU WATCH TWENTY WHATEVER YET?? simply because we’ve never seen anyone agree with us😂
I love this podcast. Ive been binge watching from the beginning of when you 3 started together. I love the deeper ones. I seen comments saying they wanted you to talk about your week more but i love that you guys dont spend a quarter to half the episode talking about the week. I love the depth yall go.

Y'all... The sticky ick is so me. And my best friend and I used to say I was cursed because no matter which bar, dance club, concert venue... Literally ANYTHING I always got an alcoholic drink spilled all over me from a stranger and would immediately want to go home. On the dance floor, someone's going too hard and splashes their drink on me, or they drop it and it splashes up on my leg or I'd be getting a drink from the bar and someone sitting next to me would spill it all over my arm or it'd slosh a bit when they are taking it from the bar tender. It was every single time we would go out without fail it would happen. And I wouldn't care if I had been there for 5 minutes or 3 hours I would immediately want to go home cause now I'm sticky. I graduated from college almost 10 years ago and no joke. My best friend's bachelorette party was the first bar I had gone to post 2020 last year and within the first 5 minutes of entering the bar had a beer spilled on me. The guy was rocking in his stool across the walkway and tipped it too far and his beer went flying. My friend and I just looked at each other and said "EVERYTIME" I stayed though because it was her bachelorette party 😂

One of my icks is pop quizzes in general. In high school and college I was balancing multiple AP classes all with different reading and exam schedules, so I was always allocating my time to prepare for the next test, which meant sometimes pushing off reading homework for a class until the weekend. Pop quizzes on random readings or concepts are punitive and pointless. If a teacher announces a quiz ahead of time, the students who care about getting a certain grade will study and the students who don’t care will get points off on a quiz the same way they would with a pop quiz. They really just unfairly punish students who are practicing time management!
Omg the "people calling me hun" ick has been my life since I was a teen and I'm in my late twenties now. INCLUDING old ladies. I hate when anyone who doesnt know me calls me any nickname like sweetie, dear, etc.
It's bad but my one uncle gives me the ICK, and a lot of it has to do with his personality, laugh, just overall as a whole is total ick. To the point of I hate when I end up at a table with him or he tries to talk to me. It makes family functions uncomfortable sometimes.😢

@Brianna Peterson XD looking back, it is pretty ick lol It actually was the more comfortable way to do hw though if I had to sit on the floor at a rehearsal or with a study group. Especially if I needed to spread out my book and my notes 🤷♀️

Being in Canada I am always barefoot. There are shoes I have that I never wear socks with. It also doesn't get melt your face hot here. So I feel like in California i get the socks in the shoes more lol 😂

My ick is when you are with a group of people and you give your best friend a hug goodbye and then you say goodbye to everybody else but it’s like wait now that I had one person do I need to hug everyone? And also like you’re sitting in a chair and I’m standing up so like do I need a hug you will you stand up or do I lean down? I can’t

Bahaha! I'm only 15 minutes in and just thinking back to a few guys I liked in high school that I totally had ick moments with! The really funny thing is my husband of 14 years (who can sometimes bug the ever-living daylights out of me) can do the same things those guys did and it typically hasn't ever bothered me. 🤣🤣
I remember when I was 21 and my boyfriend at the time was during 23 and we booked a week at an all inclusive in Jamaica and this older woman said to me "that's so cute, I remember when we came for just a week". Like homie were in our early 20's and just dropped 3 grand on this. Be nice. 🤣
