Probably from a facility that recycles old concrete. They have machines similar to the portable shear that crushes the concrete away from the rebar. The old concrete is used for aggregate, and we all see where the rebar ends up.
Recently ran across your videos- great job! If possible, can you show a general overview of the yard? Trying to figure out where everything is related to each other. Also, just curious what is the average weight of the trucks leaving? I see there are mixed waste loaded trucks and basically all metal loaded trucks. Keep up the great work. l think you have a shredder at another location you send appliances and non metal to. and I think material from the guillotine go to a forge or a shipyard for export. True?
