Cruising to the Dominican Republic and stopping at La Romana. This is an easy, relaxing, in expensive way to to stretch your legs when cruising to the Caribbean.
Some could consider this a tourist trap but not me. I think that finding a real pool that is not crouded, great food, drinks, bathrooms, and shopping in this small area so close to the shipis is fantastic. To me, this is what vacations are all about. I recommend this stop any day. I can learn about a country back home. It's time to just relax.
