My visit to Antequera in one day left me with a very good impression, and that is that this municipality in the province of Malaga has an enormous wealth of monuments.
We begin our visit with the Monumental Ensemble of the Dolmens, specifically with the Dolmen de Viera and the Dolmen de Mena, two Neolithic monuments that are more than 6,000 years old.
After a good meal where the popular porra antequerana was present, we set out to visit the Alcazaba de Antequera, a perfectly walled walled area that can be fully explored. Once the visit is over, we head to the Collegiate Church of Santa María, an Andalusian Renaissance church with Gothic reminiscences. To end our visit we went down to the Old Town to take a walk around its different squares.
