@@travelpockets I had a family obligation that called for me to move to Southern California. That December 2020 road trip I mentioned in your road trip video was me doing that move. I had no desire of my own to leave Austin, believe me. In fact, my last night there I was sobbing uncontrollably at the thought of leaving 😭 I've been wanting to move back to Austin ever since, but I'm starting to get scared now because the rent there has skyrocketed in the time since I left, and it was already going up so much even before then. I want to live in Austin but it's definitely facing a lot of problems as a result of how quickly it's grown in the past decade, and the rapidly rising cost of housing is at the top of the list 😞 I've actually thought about moving to somewhere cheap in Florida to save money, haha. Got any recommendations?

We haven't explored Houston or Dallas much, but we did enjoy Austin a lot and we can see why everyone loves it. It's a good mix of small city vibe with local love.
