We just got back from Bermuda. Great island We rented a mini elec car and did the whole island. Beaches, caves, swizzle inn, Hamilton. All in one day Check it out 2022 Know before you go 🤷‍♂️👀

as a Bermudian, do not put your purse or valuables in your scooter basket...it'll most likely be snatched by a passing scooter.

Been to Bermuda several times and this is a great video of some of the top places to check out! I was surprised that he didn't include Front Street as this is a popular place for shopping, nightlife, and some of the best restaurants on the island. I'm a huge fan of the following restaurants with the first being a must-go: Mad Hatter, 1609 (in season), Port-O-Cal, Red's (best steak), and Pickled Onion. I could rattle off more but these are all top notch. Oh - if you're in the mood for pub food with a balcony, Flanagan's is the place to go. Awesome wahoo bites as an appetizer. Definitely go to the Swizzle Inn as he mentioned. The rum swizzles are a different recipe than elsewhere on the island and quite potent! If you do go to Horseshoe Bay, make sure to explore the coves to the East of the main beach. You feel like you're discovering a secret beach the whole walk! If you're visiting in March-April, whale watching is a great time! I went in 2016. Tour guides were great. Just make sure to take some dramamine if you get sea-sick easily! The tour was in the neighborhood of $100 a person but well worth the price.

Seeing as to how 98% of cruises to Bermuda dock in Kings Warf/West End, you failed to mention taking the Ferry over to Hamilton (Capitol of Bermuda). Very inexpensive and run pretty often. Trip to Hamilton on the ferry fast so you can shop and or eat there then take the bus back and the bus drivers can tell you about the many beaches along the way.

so looking forward to my trip now ill be in port for 3 days. those caves are right up our alley on stuff we like to explore great tips vid could use some editing with maybe pictures and stuff but other then that outstanding fish chowder here i come!

Hi, first let me tell you ... your video was just awesome... thanks for sharing.... well I'm goin to bermuda in 2 weeks .. I know you said about the mopeds... but I wonder if they have golf cart too... cuz I'm traveling with my mother and her friend ... and they are senior citizen ... and I really cant imagine they riding a moped ...lol

Last year we rented an electric car called a Renault Twizzy and that worked out pretty well.

What is your opinion of best place to stay. We were looking at Grotto inn. Planning on weeks stay next August. Any help is much appreciated

The minimum age for anyone to rent a moped is 16 yrs of age - the person must provide proof of driving skills (your current license from your home country) will usually suffice. Most rental venues will give you a test drive on a moped to see how comfortable you are, this is your chance to judge if riding a moped is for you - or not. The locals are very aware of the rental moped (the red letters/numbers indicate a rental) and will look out for you - and in most cases they will go wide to overtake and avoid you. We (the locals) watch out for you and your safety.

A moped and a scooter are not the same. A moped you can pedal or use the motor, a scooter is much like a motorcycle it runs completely on a motor.
