We present the Complete Tourist Guide to tour California starting in Simi Valley at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, home of Air Force One.
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is a 45-minute drive from downtown Los Angeles.
Air Force One is a 52-passenger Boeing 707 aircraft that operated from 1973 to 2001 to transport the President of the United States. The new Air Force One is 3 times larger than the one in this museum.
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is more of a museum than a bookstore. One of the main attractions is an exact copy of the Oval Office of the White House.
Also inside the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library you will find Marine One, the Sikorsky VH3A helicopter (1962) that transports the president of the United States (USA). The library has a couple more aircraft: an F-14 and an F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter and an M-1 Abrams Tank (they do not appear in this video for reasons of time).
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum has an exhibition of the Cold War and the Berlin Wall, a piece of the Berlin Wall is in the patio where you can see wonderful sunsets in the gardens where we end the day.
