Hoping to move to Mauldin within 2 years with my lil family. I want to give my kids a different life. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and I want something new. My best friend moved there a few years ago and she loves it.
When I visited GVL for a week this past June, I saw Bridgeway Station several times from the highway. I have to say it I don’t understand the reasoning behind the style of architecture and I’m not a fan of the aesthetics. It is just so out of place for SC. I’m sure many places in it are great and I wish those businesses success. But it’ll never be a replacement destination for a “real” downtown. Thank you for the video. You have such a warm and likeable demeanor.
You're not the only one with that opinion. People are 50/50 on it. It does look much better from close-up though due to the details in the finishes. Plus, a large amount of the materials were actually imported from Italy so touching them is the closest I've been to Europe 😅
