My first taste of Beamish Irish stout was at this festival band in 2000. My teenage self and my buddy got an older guy to buy us a couple beers. I also heard bagpipes playing live for the first time here.
Love this! Wyldflowers apothecary and True Heart Pottery are LITERALLY my favorite shops, and it's true it's SO much more fun to play in costume when you visit! I love the details you captured from so many shops, and the details of the lanes all fresh and green at the beginning of the season! If you make it back I hope you get the chance to explore the enchanted forest area a little!
fun fact about messner honey.. they are local, but they are also worldwide. i was on the island of maui at the top of the volcano, annnd their chapstick was being sold you do need to come back, the festival is so much better when youre not dying of sweat.
