Moriones is a Lenten tradition in the province of Marinduque. It is considered as one of the most-attended lenten traditions in the Philippines. It starts from Palm Sunday until Easter Sunday with various activities happening in different towns of Marinduque. One of the highlights of the Moriones is the "Via Crusis" held every Good Friday with a very dramatic re-enactment of the "Passion of Christ" along the streets of every town of Marinduque.
