This is one of those classic AH minecraft videos where they were in their peak period in 2013. Back when AH were just unbelievable, I truly miss those days, so much nostalgia.

At first I thought Geoff was too drunk and called this video "let's to do", but then I realized I'm too drunk.

Should've punched holes in the ground and filled those with the wool instaed of placing them on top, so the wool doesn't cover the view of the lines

After three years I return to this video so that i finally can say that I've seen every Minecraft related Let's play/Things to do..

For all those who said Ryan didn't cheat he did. He placed another one at 17:13 even though he didn't make another square. The one at 16:55 was legal.

Hilariously, it's actually Gavin who cheated - or at the very least, heavily benefited from somebody else's cheating - and there's considerable evidence suggesting that he edited the video to help cover it up. At 11:55, in the middle of Geoff's turn, there is a critically important open space in the upper left corner between Ryan and Micheal's blocks. This same space has mysteriously been filled between it's 11:55 appearance and the next time it is visible at 12:24 (lower left corner, at the bottom of the "observation tower"), all during Geoff's turn, while Geoff himself was otherwise engaged. After a few confusing cuts and edits. Mr. Free then proceeds to "discover" the resulting smorgasbord of points during his go at 12:40, the turn which - conveniently - immediately followed Geoff's. Owing to the video's choppy editing, we can see only that, during the time-frame in which 'the mystery play' occurred, Micheal is following Geoff around like a puppy, Geoff is focused on filling his newly acquired zone, and that Ryan is in the vicinity of the cobblestone barrier, and presumably the observation tower and 'the mystery play' based on the direction he enters the shot from at 12:20. Ray is visible after the cut at 12:24 at the opposite end of the cobblestone barrier from where Ryan was in the previous shot, also in position to possibly have been responsible for 'the mystery play' during the time in question. Noticeably absent from the footage between 11:55 and 12:24 is Gavino Free's avatar. Those are the facts, indisputable based on the video available above. The following is mere conjecture; Ray clearly had given up on the game at that point and/or otherwise had little interest in winning based on his (lack of) commentary, dicking around in a boat instead of analyzing the board with his spare time, and the move he handed Geoff at 11:40. The video all but entirely absolves Michael and Geoff himself. That leaves Ryan and Gavin as the only ones in the right place with possible motives for cheating. Gavino Free is a known habitual, intentional cheater, while Ryan - who may be guilty of occasional creepiness and sounding like Jack - has no such reputation. In fact, Ryan is the most likely AH to engage in what is colloquially known as 'rules lawyering'; ensuring that the rules are clearly outlined and consistent, and that all players strictly adhere to them at all times. Furthermore, since Geoff's turn was ongoing while 'the mystery play' occurred - and it was thus possible that Geoff himself discover it and play on it immediately - Ryan was the second-to-last person capable of taking advantage of 'the mystery play', chronologically speaking, with Ray being last. It would therefore have been uncharacteristically foolish of Ryan to cheat in such a way, given that three other players could have robbed him of the gambit's benefits before he got to capitalize on it, ultimately rendering such skullduggery a likely liability. Gavin, on the other hand, would be next after Geoff, who was distracted with his own big play - an ideal 'opportunity' for that sort of cheating. Now listen again to Geoff questioning Gavin at 18:22. That wasn't solely a friendly accusation between old pals: Geoff KNEW what Gavin had done. There's not really any knowing whether he actually saw Gavin cheat, or if he merely noticed the discrepancy caused by 'the mystery play' and surmised that there was no way that he had just, as Micheal puts it at 12:41, "miss[ed] all that". Gavin fanbois and girls, your 'lovable idiot' is actually a slick little fucker. Personally, I'm okay with that - what's NOT cool is projecting onto the other, more upstanding players like Ryan when they make honest mistakes and labeling them cheaters when you root for the slimiest SOB in the bunch. Go back to wherever other Slytherin and Oakland Raiders fans hang out on the internet. Decent people don't want to read your bullshit accusations and whinging when your guy constantly gets his shit pushed in because he's too busy trying to get away with cheating to cultivate any actual skill. I wonder if there's a way we can convince them to release an uncut version of the game from each player's perspective?

I'm so late and this comment won't matter, but Ryan cheated at the end. If you look at the moment he placed his extra line he missed. and most likely many people pointed that out when the video came out.

Wow. This was my first ah video ever. 2 whole years ago I never even heard of them.

At 16:59, Ryan made a mistake that ended his turn but he kept going! It shows a block of 2 and he made that using his free play, then he went an extra extra turn to fill it in! Ryan pulled a Gavin move and messed it up for himself but kept playing.

Anyone else notice this is obviously filmed after King Ray as Ryan is wearing his armor he had, and references the "clever girl."

Cool trick in this game: If you are at the point where there are only multiple "combos" that can be made, and you are making yours, get almost all the way to the end, and then skip a line and leave two blocks that can be completed with one line. That way, the only option your opponent has is to take the two blocks and start the next combo for you (two player only).

I used to play that all the time in third grade. And I love how Gavin is just putting down lines so Michael can win.

Something they could do is make a Achievement City museum, for all the neat things from old episodes in there world, like the boat from episode 9.

You can make a board that resets at the push of a button; the redstone gets pistons under them and wool dispensers of fire charges (sadly only pc has down facing dispensers ).

I had no clue how to play this game and I thought it was going to be boring... Now I really want to play this

16:50 Everyone look at the way Ryan puts down the redstone. He puts one down that technically would have ended his turn in the middle of that, because it doesn't complete a square. He then adds another one (illegally) which allows him to complete the move.

I have a suggestion for a 'Things to Do'. My brother and I have taken to making enormous glass block mazes and challenging others to beat them. It's surprisingly difficult; especially at night.

By that logic the game began when the video began so whenever Geoff is explaining a lets play/things to do to everyone Gavin can just get a head start because he knows what they're doing, it doesn't work like that, the game starts when it starts not when the video starts and the game ends when it ends not when the video ends.

So I was playing on a server the other day, and my friend spawns in the plains and goes; "Why is this sheep pink?" And I went to look, and sure enough there were like...10 pink sheep. And I wanted to flail and be like "I FOUND A RARE OCCURRENCE, GEOFF!"

I'll phrase it differently; I don't think Ryan 'wasn't paying attention'. I think Ryan looked at his turn as a whole and thought, 'Okay, if I place these blocks in order, I can get the whole rest of this space.' Knowing this, he didn't care that much about the specific clicks; he was just filling in the space. Its analogous to a game of Monopoly, where one moves their piece directly to the square they belong on instead of moving it up and down many times; he merely skipped the boring part.
