Can i write some words that she sing ? 30 năm đấu tranh giành trọn vẹn non sông 30 years of fighting for the completely unify ( 1945 ~ 1975 : from Ho Chi Minh wrote Independent declaration for Vietnam. We passed 2 wars : first and second Indochina war with France and US ) 30 năm dân chủ, cộng hòa. Kháng chiến đã thành công. 30 years of democracy and republic. The resistance was successful. ( Vietnam war was one of bloodiest conflict in 20th century ) Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh Vietnam, Hồ Chí Minh ( it really makes me cry )

Great video of food and travel,also your Dad is so beautiful,to see him smiling,and ecstatic about being home , the sandwich look so good,in northern California most of the Banh Mi are standard, those were so good looking,also enjoy Everytime you stay at a hotel and look for slippers , so cute .safe travels

It’s so cool how our taste palette adapts to whatever we grow up with. I tried to make my own bahn mi and was overwhelmed by the flavor pallets! Too many vegetables. I’m surprised you guys love it so much with how you dislike vegetables hahah. I’m a Philly cheesesteak kind of girl. Just cheese beef, sweet peppers and onions ❤😊 love that bread though, I live near where Americas version of the “sub roll” originated. The submarine capital of the world, Groton CT! The workmen at the sub station would order 100s of these sandwiches called “grinders” that a local man made, but because they worked at the sub base they made the comparison of how they looked like submarines. Eventually that namesake became a a damn Subway haha ❤😂

To be honest the two worlds should just collide I should just add extra pickled veggies on my phillycheesesteak (sadly the carrots and radish i pickled myself smell..stinky!? Is this normal ❤😂 I know sauerkraut can be stinky but maybe my daikon was just extra um..potent 😢)

from a Hanoian, Banh Mi 25 is quite overrated imo, it's mostly catered to Westerners and tourists so I think it's not quite authentic in term of taste. One thing to note in mind is Northern style everything is way more light and healthy than Southern style. If you're accustomed to the sweeter and more fatty versions of Vietnamese food from abroad since most Vietnamese restaurants overseas are cooked in Southern Style you might find Hanoi's version of everything way more light and "healthy" in a way. Anyways, great to see you two and your family enjoy the motherland! Have fun!

Every famous Banh Mi is overrated. Banh my 25 in Ha Noi, Phuong in Hoi An, Huynh Hoa in Sai Gon. You can find a random street vendor and 90% chance their Banh Mi are better than the famous places.

You could stay overnight on Cat Ba island or sleep on the boat. Depending on your age, sleeping on the boat is fun if you like to party. A work colleague of mine slept on the boat and the other boats were tied all together and they partied all night and late into the morning. There is also a luxury cruise on a cruise ship. There is now a theme park by the sea and well as a cable car to highest point in Halong city. I would say swimming is not recommended as it is winter. I looking forward to go back for a visit to see our new apartment or stay at my in-laws in Halong city. Danang will be good as the weather is good enough to enjoy the sun, sea and sand. They have fantastic bridges and a theme park up in the high mountains.

@@LTLotusHeart so true we had to send back a student from Vietnam because there were 5 Chinese students we had who would not stop bullying him. It was either send most of our staff home or just him, sadly the bullies won because capitalism.
