I live in Leesburg. The Real estate is way over priced here. Homes are so overpriced that you need a be rich or wealthy to afford here. Rent is ridiculous. The hospitals here are pathetic. For Veterans, the hospitals don’t take Tricare or the VA. The VA here is a joke. The mall that is in the background has only a few stores and is also a joke. This area is a waste of space.

I'm shocked how many residents have lived in the Leesburg area without damage from hurricanes. We're surrounded by lakes. Just lived thru my first major hurricane, no damage. Everyone stayed in their homes. I love it here so far. It's an awesome retirement destination for sure. Very quiet
