Aw thank you and hope you stick around ☺️ I hope it was helpful. Some of my best times in Charlotte, if you are thinking about it, it’s definitely worth serious consideration! ❤️
@@AyeJye ahh yay!! 🤍 & I can’t give a fulllll review on Raleigh because I’ve only been to visit but have several people who are from there/ have lived there and loves it. They have different vibes I will say! Charlotte feels younger ?? But the suburbs / neighboring areas of Charlotte are lots of (majority) families! Raleigh feels more established and family oriented but also very college town in some parts. Charlotte just feels like a minor but want to be major city all around. Lol. I hope any of that made sense!
@@grant3919 so close to the city but still suburbs with a diverse feel? Mhmm let me come back here on that! It’s hard to compare anything directly but I have some neighborhoods in mind!
@@Sirrah9 just to clarify , in Charlotte? I would definitely suggest some areas (listing below) but there are literally new apartments literally every month , no shortage of those 😂 . But I would look in: Plaza midwood , “LoSo” aka “lower south end”. NoDa aka “north of Davidson”. There’s Regular “south end” . It’s very popular but I would say go there for the restaurants etc. but don’t actually live there. Don’tttt get an apartment directly uptown. Also farther out more residential is Dilworth, Matthews, and university is going to be least expensive but you are right in congested college area but it’s upcoming/developing around for more residents.
@@NiaMac_ well it’s been 3 years since I’ve lived there & its rapidlyyy changing. But hmm traffic for sure in some areas, I’d say thriving and growing entrepreneur ecosystem, a bunch of transplants so pretty diverse, & so many small non-profits and orgs to get involved with if you look for them (as you said!) great place for singles and families. We 💛Charlotte!
I live in NYC and I just visited CLT for the second time and I absolutely loved it. I feel called to moving down there cuz of the business and chaos of nyc i’m so tired of it up here I just down know how I can do it. I have nobody in NC but am open to starting a new life alone.
Don’t let the change scare you away! You can definitely build community here and it doesn’t have to be forever if you don’t want it to be . I hope you find your next move at the right time🫶🏾🥰
@@NiaMac_ I absolutely want to move down there & yes I have to wait for the right time. It’s just getting a car and stuff that is my biggest challenge. But thank you for your encouragement !
