I wanted to move to Texas but after what’s happening in Texas I really find it hard to do. I’m a nurse and I don’t want people that don’t know anything about health to refrain me from doing my job, probably if things change in the future I might consider it. I was on I10 in the left lane doing 80, didn’t see the dps trooper come up behind me , he flashed his red and blues at me , I got over to start pulling over and he flew by me at about 100 lol. You really got to try to get a ticket here in TX.

When I lived in the Dallas area the only time you would see the police, sheriffs and highway patrol was if there was an accident or they were looking for someone. Thinking of moving back next year, miss the restaurants and friendliness of the people. To give people in the east an idea of what Buc-ees is like, think of a large Wa-Wa.

Can you elaborate on the sketchy weather you had to drive through in west Texas?! Also your food story reminded me of a story my mom told me. In the 70s when she and my dad moved from California to Virginia (my dad was in the navy), there was no Mexican food to be found. Tortillas came in a can! My grandmother shipped them real tortillas and Mexican spices so they could have tacos. 🤣🥰

I liked all the apartments but I liked the first one and any with two bedrooms or office space. There nothing like having closet space and a designated workspace.

I just finished watching another video you all made regarding “moving to Texas.” My family and I are from WI, and currently living in MN. My significant other and I are HIGHLY considering moving to Texas! We’ve only been here since June of 2021 and have individually experienced racism 2-3 x smh! 🤦🏽‍♀️ 😔 Sooo ready to go. There is a new Hawaiian place off of the tollway and Preston (I believe) that my sister and niece said is good. Also, there are some yummy places in downtown Denton and Celina, I liked Tenders Steakhouse. You can also find one off of 380 in the Union Park area. I had a really good Phili cheese steak in this place called Texaphiladephia. If you follow Mikey Chen who is a food vloger he lives in the Dallas area parts of the year and has done reviews on tons of restaurants. You should check out his stuff.

I live off of 380 and they put mannequins in the patrol SUV's. It is WEIRD! Also, as far as Bucee's you MUST get the cinnamon rolls. They are so good and only a $1. Oh and my sister only wants to go to Bucee's when we go on car trips. She's mad when we have to stop at a regular gas station.
