Hey guys! I'm sorry that I didn't have this video up last week, as you can see I had a little bit of trouble with some of the projects in this video lol. But in today's video I'll be showing you a few more ways to use beads! If you missed part 1, you can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--yJ8YB7tlTM.html Amazon Storefront: urlgeni.us/amzn/meganweller Instagram: urlgeni.us/instagram/wellermegs TikTok: urlgeni.us/tiktok/wellermegs Pinterest: urlgeni.us/pinterest/meganweller Website: www.meganweller.org FaceBook: urlgeni.us/facebook/meganweller RedBubble: urlgeni.us/redbubble/wellermegs
@@MeganWeller I’ve done a bunch of little bees, some hats and headbands for Christmas gifts, and now I’m working on my first cardigan! How’s your weekend so far?
These crafts are SO COOL! i have a lot of pony beads to use up, since now i use seed beads more often. The flowers r super ✨CUTE✨ keep up the AMAZING tips and crafts! LOVE EMM!
as someone who has a billion beads just floating around with no use whatsoever, thank you for these ideas! also, you literally explained back stitch in 30 seconds when my design and sewing teacher took an entire hour. i applaud you!
The perler bowl blew my mind - I’ve never seen that before! Also the white flowers with black in the center were definitely a happy accident - they look realistic!
The extra flowers from the pony bead garland would be really cute for magnets or for a keychain. I can also see them being used as “embellishments” for another craft project like decorating a trinket box. Great video! 🖤
Second! ❤️❤️ I just made the mushroom 🍄 beads you showed in your last vid 😃 I also made normal beads out of paper (Tutorial from Moriah Elizabeth) they’re so cute 🥰
Pony bead magnets would make nice magnets, or you could melt a single hole in each with a drill or heated metal tool (I use a lousy-quality bend, heated fork that I've bend for making holes in plastic), then use them as big buttons to close a purse, making a frog loop with string, rather than a buttonhole, so you wont need a double hole.
I have a problem! I tried making the pony bead flower garland, and I followed everything correctly; oven at 375 for 20 minutes, used a silicon mold and everything. But my pony beads shriveled up instead of melting. I know it might be because of the type of plastic, and not all plastics are meltable, but it's still pretty disappointing. Make sure to test with a one or two beads before you waste a whole bunch of them like I did. Lesson learned. :( Edit: I still want to make this so I'll either try with a different brand of pony bead, or I'll just use perler beads instead. Don't give up!
On the flowers you made for the garland. You could turn them into a picture frame. Like just get a plane frame and then either hot glue or super glue some to the frame.
I love these projects! =) The extra flowers could be used as Cake toppers (if you attach a skewer to them).... or glue to a barrette or bobby pin.... or to a head band.... or make a keychain with them..... or.... use as an embellishment on a greeting card.... Or a "Drink marker - charm"....
Question: On the bowl one, if you use to eat, does it fall out in the holes You can also use the flower charms for sketchbook covers as something like stickers, you can use them for journal, etc. sorry for the stupid question
Oh Beats … that’s amazing ! Beats are always something you need in an art/craft store but end up never using it because you don’t have a good idea but bracelets.
For sure - my aunt "donated" a lot of her old beads to me, so I don't think I'll run out of them any time soon 😅 (also, I know it's a typo, but Beats are pretty great too lol)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! All these ideas will be really helpful for some crafts i’m planning to make when i have time! I understand if you have a lot of videos to make, but i do have a request: could you possibly make a video of crafts you can do with friends, like party crafts for everyone on different skill levels? I 100% understand if you don’t have time for this!
Aw thank you, I’m so glad you liked it! I can definitely see if I can think of any ideas, I’m kind of drawing a blank at the moment but I can add it to my list! 💜
Hey guys! I'm sorry I didn't have a video up last week - unfortunately a few of the projects I had in mind for this video didn't exactly turn out how I planned 🤦🏻♀️But in this week's video I'll be showing you a few more crafts you can make with beads (that are NOT jewelry!) If you missed part 1, you can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--yJ8YB7tlTM.html I hope you're all having a great week! You’re so neat in everything. Like every video of yours is perfect, perfect visuals, audio everything!!! You don’t even create mess while making something,I make my room a dump area after any art or craft works😔
5:07 me and my step mom made this for my room and its super cute!!The only problem was that our internet was out so I couldn't go back to watch the video and we put the heat too low but, after awhile we realized and turned the heat up
I loved the flower garland idea I have another idea about the flowers : u can use them for card making or any other craft to decorate it and it would look 3D too and it would look awesome in my opinion! Love ya'💜
I needed this! I had too much beads after finding them to make keychains, and i have too much keychains so i needed to make smth else lol- to top it off my aunt gave me perler beads as a present so i have a loooot to use. Perfect timing haha!
OMG haiiiiiii megannnnnnnnnnnnnn how are u? and is it only me who LOVEEEEEEEEE that intro??? Woah [you give me crazy inspo for art] {thank u} please reply hello!
If you search “heart shaped granny square” it should come up! (I wouldn’t recommend the tutorial I used - she forgot to mention that you need to chain one in between each group of double crochets until she was like halfway through the instructions so I had to take it apart and redo it)
You don’t need to use Canva! And yes, I think that would be ok (it would probably work better with a slightly thicker fabric though, which is why I used the felt)
They have little bead organizer containers with different sections that you can get if you want to separate the colors. I just keep mine in a ziploc bag though 😅
