It’s really annoying that people think that all hippies smoke weed and do bad things. yes some do, but others just love nature a lot. That’s what a hippie is. So stop.
@@nat_jackthe only thing I can imagine, as a Hippie is she supports commercialism and fast fashion but those don’t just not make someone not a Hippie. Tbh the person who commented “but no hippie” is just spreading hate :/
Hippies can have cars. Most hippies back then lived cara because it was less capitalism money then housing so they would travel and get away from the government. And while cars aren’t eco friendly neither is phones, houses, stores, electronics, or western living
I’m a 14 yr old (almost 15) hippie and I plan on living in my van, my dad just needs to rebuild the transmission and fix the ignition (the previous owner had to drill it cause he lost the keys lol) hope to be on the road soon 👍
In my jacket pocket (it’s a zip up don’t know why you need to know but whatever) I carry some crystals and I bounce when I walk idk why I just do any everyone asks me why I’m jingling lol

Well I have those things EXCEPT the car !!! But I do ride a horse! Do horses count as a car replacement? I mean walking everywhere is better for the environment and your health too, especially in barefoot style shoes. 😊😂
i don’t think that really matters. a lot of clothing styles come from a lot of different cultures. do you like wearing it? do you feel comfortable in it? cool, then put it on
Yes and no. See in the 60-70s alot of people escaping the government or traveling to protest against the Vietnam war would pass through Europe, but traveling was alot to go from the U.S.A or Europe to Asia, so many people packed veryyyy little, however they did have a solution to this when it became a problem, often once they hit areas like Romania they needed more clothes, but Romania didn’t have alot of clothing stores, now they did have villages with fabrics, so people would use their high grossing money and commercial goods to trade for fabrics of different cultures and because many women knew how to sow back then, the women travelers would make clothes. They also bought jewelry and made new traditions when staying with different cultures. Now when they came back to the popular countries the ideas of not supporting commercialism and the new fashion was adopted and spread. With new styles and new morals, protest broke out against the government and commercial companies, this did take some take, but it did make a change, once there was change the people could afford their normal clothes and life styles without support the cruelty they did before. So yes it is based on alot of Romani and different cultures, but not because of appropriation but it was appreciation and newly learned lifestyles! Hope that helps :)
