I had heard that it was HER decision to leave Nightwish, BUT, here it says that she was "dismissed from the band in Oct 2005", and to me that sounds like she was NOT the one that chose for her to leave. Maybe I am wrong about that? Maybe being "dismissed" doesn;t actually mean that she had NOT been the one to choose to leave? Hell, I don't know, BUT, the song "Bye bye beautiful" was supposedly about Tarja, and IF you ask me, it sounds like the guys didn;t want her to leave. Then this video says that in December 2004, Tarja had informed the band members in Nightwish that she wanted to quit the band, so, I am confused as to which it was, HER choice or the bands choice? I HAD Heard that her new husband did NOT care for her close relationship with Thoumas very much, and IF that was true, THAT just may be WHY she had left the band, IF it was HER choice. Okay, so I hear it now, the guys HAD told her to leave on Oct 2005, because she was supposedly being a "diva". Sorry, I've been commenting as I watch the video, BUT, I do know that the song "Bye bye beautiful" is about Tarja. Btw, Annette Olsen had said that she "understands Tarja" after touring with Nightwish. And, it seems that she meant that a woman needs some things that a man does NOT. I can only imagine that she meant some things like taking a shower more often and having several changes of new clothing. Maybe some "comforts" that maybe men may NOT really care to have. Now, IF she did NOT mean that kinda stuff, I have NO idea what she meant then. I do love her vocals in Nightwish, BUT, if I had heard her singing real opera, I would most likely NOT really like it much. I am a metalhead, so, I just like metal pretty much, with some VERY FEW exceptions.
She chose to leave the band and telling the band about her decision in December 2004, also she agreed to record one more album with Nightwish and didn’t announce her decision publicly when Thoumas asked her to. In the other hand, the band broke their promise by dismissing her early from what they agreed upon, through public open letter with some accusations of her character, without her knowing prior to the open letter.
@@mishaaleksander2782 Well, it sounds like BOTH sides had made decisions that made her departure into a very "Dramatic" situation. Fans may have been pretty divided as to which party had been the one in the wrong. As for me, I THINK that Tarja's (new at the time) husband MAY have been jealous of his wife's close artistic ties with Thoumas. Or Tarja had simply wanted a solo career. Hell, I am not sure.
@@juliegogola4647 Come on use your brain a bit. Obvious she had outgrew them. Just look at her vast brilliant and diverse solo career. Now she writes or cowrites the songs, tons of brilliant collaborations, a producer and musician now too !!!

Anyway, I am not familiar with Tarja's solo career, so, I don't know that she had outgrown Nightwish. Maybe I did comment on your comment already and don't remember since It may have been last year. Anyway, IF solo Tarja is NOT METAL, I just may not like it.
Thanks for the correction. In English, her name seems like it would be pronounced that way. IF I had to try to say her name, I'd have said "Tarjia" too. I guess that it isn't just Spanish that pronounces "J"s as if they are a whole different letter than English language does.
@@juliegogola4647 She's not english, it's not an english name, so fuck it how in english, in spanish, in french, in klingon or sindarin would sound... It sounds like the person who wear that name pronaunce it. And this name has been pronaunced so many time that one should be completely stupid not being able to repeat.
