Things you may have missed in The Amazing Digital Circus Episode 3 

The fact that Kinger trusted Pomni enough to let her know his story of Queenie, only after a few days of her being in the circus, and that they both came to an understanding that Kinger will forget their bonding was both emotional and sweet, and really gave Kinger much more character development, and, hopefully, more love from the fandom.

In Ep2, when Kinger has a bucket over his head (MAKING IT DARK), he's able to recall Ragatha's first day at the circus, but when he takes it off, he can't remember anything, foreshadowing this episode. Genuinely insane writing from Goose. 🏆

In episode 2, during the funeral, Kinger is shown not being insane and is really emotional. This is because he’s closing his eyes.

I noticed something. Remember Kinger saying his wife was into entomology? Him mentioning an ‘insect collection’ in episode 1 when it was dark (exited the pillow fort to ask and when in the gloink cave) makes a little more sense now, doesn’t it?

You missed one = Kinger glows can be seen as symbolizes. He was Pomni's guiding light to get out of the Hall of the Damned. But he was also a guiding light when he talked to Pomni, helping her adjust to the figurative hell Pomni has felt shew as in since arriving at the Circus, as he helped her with her stress.

I do love seeing Caine actually show emotion it reminds me of the Caleb Hyles song which humanised Caine

Two things I realized were that Kinger's pillow fortress is way bigger on the inside as that's where the abstracted Queenie scene took place. And that Kinger probably stays there since that's where it happens, it's dark and it allows him to remember.

Is it just me or did Pomni’s eyes when she was possessed remind anyone else of Murder Drones?

I spotted a secret! While the second tape was playing, we get a shot of a bookshelf where one of the books is tiled ANGELS in bright white letters. That foreshadows what the creature is, and that Baron Mildenhall knew already.

I feel like kinger studying computer science could hint to the fact that he built the circus and Caine

After episode 3, I do wonder if TADC is kinda metaphorically showing the effects of mental illnesses. Zooble had body dismorphia Pomni seems to have some sort of trauma disorder or anxiety disorder Kinger may have schizophrenia or short term memory loss from the grief of Queenie abstracting Unsure about the rest of the cast, but I feel it’s definitely plausible that the rest may have mental disorders/illnesses too.

Fun fact, the "How's your wife, Kinger?" is a reference to the Destiny 2 line the the Forsaken expansion when one of the main characters says "How's your sister?" while also being in the same position.

i just realised that when kinger said "you look beautiful, honey" to the monster, its because his only memory of queenie was just being in the dark with a bunch of eyes. he knew that queenie/the monster should be dangerous, but he felt at ease and didn't want to leave.

I love the backward messaging 😂

Also caine has a mental breakdown at 11 minutes and 47 seconds which makes the world around them break down which will probably be an important thing to note in future episodes and probably a way for them to escape if caine loses control mentally

Also, Kinger's backstory shows us that the Abstracted can have a safe contact with others in the dark

Kinger and Queenie gave me Monster House vibes, the way he loves her and patted her cheek one last time. It totally changed my perceptions of him from mr Nebercracker to a supportive older man

I think when Pomni gets possessed because she’s breathes in is a reference to “The Exorcist”, especially with how she talked and how she sounds, especially asking kinger “HOWS YOUR WIFE KINGER?”.

I think it was foreshadowing Kinger’s abstracted wife when he gets mesmerized by the monster’s many eyes

There was also a reference to the deadlights from IT by Stephen king’s book/movie at the timestamp 9:43. I personally am a HUGE Stephen king fan and it was awesome to see that! When I saw it I immediately recognized it, and usually I don’t pay much attention to shows and mostly listen to them but I am so glad I saw it

I love all of the Horror references in it I almost knew all of them

Not to mention when Pomni gets Possessed, I got "Sonic X" Vibes. When those Boom Boo ghost Possessed Amy.

It's so cool how the dark helps Kinger remember his past life. (And late wife.)

So... We're not gonna talk about how Mr. Mildenhall's tapes could be foreshadowing for Kinger's backstory? What if he went so crazy trying to find the exit (his angel) that he accidentally caused his wife to abstract?

at 5:56 theres the head of a character called "The Bone Pastor" from gooseworx's TADC joke comics.

Technically Zooble is not non-binary, it would be more like gender fluid since Gooseworx said that Zooble does not remember his gender when entering the circus, that's why she uses any pronoun

Fun fact that if u slow down the scene where Ragatha and Gangle where drinking tea with the ghost girl, the tea cup is the same design use in the murder drone design from the episode 5 where Cyn was drinking tea to N.

Another thing that I noticed is when Pomni was possessed she sais "How's your wife Kinger".

The music in the scene where Kinger glows, is an italian music made by Alessandro Alessandroni. Song's name: Evocazioni D'Amore

The monster opening it's mouth and hypnotizing Kinger was a reference to Stephen King's It specifically being what are called "The Deadlights" used by Pennywise.

When Kinger looks into the creatures mouth and says, "You look beautiful honey" it could be because the inside of the mouth looks like his abstracted wife

I feel like the design for that "angel" was something from that weird indie horror game "garten of banban." That game has weird character design.

0:23 Gangle is drawing anime eyes, which I find hilarious And I had to scroll a ways down on tumblr to find the post it was said in, but goose said that Gangle’s art style is somewhere between the good anime art and the cringey kind. I can definitely see that in her drawings lol

Kinger mentioning an Insect Collection in the first episode was foreshadowing that his wife enjoyed bugs and most likely had an insect collection that Kinger enjoyed

Possessed Pomni reminds me of Possessed Amy from Sonic X.

Also Jax was hiding the fact of what happens to him when he holds his breath, which partially supports the theory that he’s actually an npc.

In the episode, Goose made the entity who's a sort of mix of Rush, Ambush and Screech, a reference from the Roblox horror game Doors (could be also one from the basement part or flood 2) His body may be a reference from Little Nightmare or The Boiled one serie since both have creatures without head (or maybe another idk)

What Kinger said (about studying computer science for 7 years) could mean that Kinger is one of the creators of Digital Circus.

Something interesting I noticed is that when right after Kinger mentioned studying computer science for 7 years, Pomni says this: "Why? Every day I spend here is one nightmare after the next! I KNEW IT WOULD END UP LIKE THIS! He- he justs wants me to suffer." I was specifically intrigued by the line I fully capitalized because Pomni is most likely referring to her life before the Circus, hinting that maybe Pomni was one of the people who made the Circus, alongside maybe Kinger and his wife, Queeny. Also at the beginning of the episode, Zooble says that Jax won't show the rest of the group what happens when he holds his breath, which is giving more evidence that Jax is an NPC. Gotta pay attention to those little details!😁

When pomni and kinger first met the face ghost, while pomni try to open the elevator kinger is like hypnotized by the monster's mouth and say "you look beutiful honey" because inside the monster's mouth it looks like a bunch of eyes and that remind kinger when his wife become abstracted.

Kinger is my favourite character from TADC, and this episode really highlights why.

When caine is doing therapy for zooble He says: “I do not use my adventures to torture my guests” “Any torment i inflict is 100% accidental.” “Like any good war criminal” Is this or is this not a mrbeast allegations reference? This sounds alot like jake weddle and the beast games situations.

When the lights go out, there’s a back and forth between Pomni and Kinger-“What’s that? What’s what? That!” etc. I think this might be a reference to Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure as they say almost the same dialogue in that movie when in the woods. It might be a bit of a stretch, but Gooseworx has talked about her love for that movie and said that TADC will have lots of references to it :)

Kinger was mesmerized and said hi honey while peering into the angel’s mouth full of eyes because it reminded him of Queenie’s abstracted form.

Wasn't expecting the backwards bubble talk

During the therapy session, Zooble mentions that Caine always forgets why she isn’t happy. At the end of the therapy session, after Zooble tells Caine the reason again, she tells Caine to “forget it” out of frustration, to which he immediately asks “forget what”. I feel like this isn’t just a gag and could be foreshadowing that Caine is programmed to take orders from the inhabitants in the circus. In episode 1 he mentions he’s working on an exit due to the inhabitants wanting one but can’t figure out what to put in it as well. It’s likely that the cast can order him to do certain things since he’s a program but due to how life-like he appears to them, they probably don’t realize.

There's an editing mistake where part of Ragathas dress is missing when she stands up from the table after drinking tea, it'd very subtle but definitely noticable

The scene where Pomni gets possessed felt like a direct reference to Amy Rose getting possessed by a ghost in the series Sonic X. In both cases, the possessed victims have glowing orange eyes and razor sharp teeth, and both end up coughing after the spirits have been knocked out of their bodies.

You seemed to miss a Murder Drones reference, when Kane said "Look at this cool bee I can draw" it was a reference when Khan said "Look at this cool "S" I can draw". I'm happy Glitch didn't forget MD

The tape recorder and heads on the wall might be a reference to evil dead also the corpse having a double barrel shotgun could be also a reference to ash from the movies.

Kinger looks into the monsters mouth (full of eyeballs) and says something along the lines "honey you look gorgeous"

1:29 not gonna lie the decorations are the Abstracted form in wacky world on the TV screens. How has nobody noticed yet!?

One that I noticed was Kinger's wife studied insects and in the 1st episode Kinger kept mentioning an insect collection

When kinger saw the eyes in the monster's mouth, he said "You look beautiful honey" because it looked like his abstracted wife.

So what we pretty much learned is the darkness for Kinger recalls memories- past and present. It's in a sense a coping mechanism. When he isn't in any form of darkness he comes forgetful, crazy and looney. It's nice to know the earlier episodes foreshadow this as well as the details in the background and explains why the abstract are stuck in the cellar in complete darkness as it's the only thing to calm them down. I have a feeling in a later episode they will need to save the abstracted victims

Forgot to mention how Caine being caught in a logical paradox started to glitch out TADC along with his own character model. This shows just how much control and connection Caine has to TADC itself.

There is no reason to think that Ghostly was supposed to guide the players through the scarier level. The entire point of that level was to be more scary and "mature" for Zooble (is that how you spell it?) The tapes placed throughout the rooms were the guide.

I think you might've missed that there's a scene when we first see the mansion that shows a headstone/grave the reads "Peggy 2019-2022"

Considering how darkness has as significant an impact on Kinger as it does on the abstracted, he's probably a stone's throw away from joining them in the cellar.

I was so fixated on the mounted heads when I watched this episode last night, and from then on, I tried to keep my eyes as peeled as possible. I swear I thought they were more references to “Internet horror” (like more so in the creepypasta and analog horror side of things), but clearly I was way out in left field. 💀 With that being said though, I swear Ragatha’s looks like this one piece of art for the Tails Doll. I don’t exactly know the original artist, but it’s very distinct, and is most likely gonna show up first in images when you look it up. I’m still stuck on Zooble’s though, the hand eye with the antlers don’t seem familiar to me, but I’m determined to see if it’s meant to be a reference or not.

The color, slant of the eyes, and shape of the mouth on the mansion's spooky face reminds me more of the LEGO Hidden Side school set, although I'm like 90% sure that was also derived from Monster House.

The scary form Ghostly took before revealing his cute form also resembles a creature from the end of Little Runmo

Zooble drew stuff while giving Caine therapy.

I realized that I think Kinger's whole rembering and being more sane in the dark was not only referenced in episode 2 when he tells Ragatha he remembers when she joined the circus with a bucket on his head. and that in this backstory it implies possibly because Kinger touched his abstracted wife that's why he's crazy. you see when the abstracted are in light they go crazy like how we saw kofmau in the first episode but here we see in darkness they relax. perhaps some of that spread to kinger as we know in darkness he's sane but in light he's crazy. and before you say "but Ragatha touched Kofmau in episode 1" while yes it's true 1. he wasn't relaxed, 2. Cane fixed her error. and 3. Ragatha took on a glitchy look because Kofmau was crazy while Kinger's wife was calm.

The whole scary and not scary door reminded me of It Chapter 2 with the "Scary", "Very Scary", and "Not Scary AT All" doors.

One you missed. Early on in the episode during the "holding your breath" discussion, there's one of the mannequins watching the group from the distance. It's watching from way off to the right.

Monster House is a classic, definitely recommend it

My dream is this episode would stop people creating this terrible content farms, because this series is not for small children. The ep reminded me of some old horror games for the PC or Playstation.

Some of people mentioned that Caine is AI, but nobody talks about Kinger quote "7 years of computer science for this, huh?" at moment when he was sane.

There is a tombstone with the writing "R.I.P. Peggy 2019-2022" in the front yard of the manor. Among the photographs, there is one that appears to have a picture of an Abstraction. Among the rows of books, there is one titled, "Angels," foreshadowing the surprise twist about the monster. The sketchbook that Zooble is holding has a mostly blank page with just a few smeared spots on it, but nothing written and no real pictures/drawing/images. That's all that I was able to find.

How does kinger remember that he took 7 years of computer science when they can't remember anything else about their lives before the circus?

A book on the shelves has ANGEL in all caps written on the only book with a title. A clear nod to the twist of the monster's identity coming later.

It's even weird when you realize that Gooseworx herself said that Kinger and Queenie were never in a relationship, so this means that she lied? Or maybe it was a different character?

I also think that Mildenhall's recorded message is a reference to Henry Emily's speech in FNaF 6

When a ghost(a NPC) got into ponmi's body, it asked kinger about his wife. Caine said that he cant read human's head, but the ghost said about kinger's worst experiance(losing his wife). The ghost NPC was created by caine, so Caine must have lied about not able to read human's mind

There was a book named "Angels" in bookshelves, hinting that Monster is an Angel at the very start

A thing you missed is that the reason Kinger became hypnotized by the eyes inside of the ghost's mouth was because they reminded him of his wife after she abstracted. Which is why he complimented on them as he stared.

Ok so, I may be the only one, but the angel (the giant creepy head I think) I saw a reference to IT and pennywise doing the dead lights to hypnotize young Beth and older Richie. The angel did the same thing to Kinger to hypnotize him into its mouth. May have just been me tho bc I love IT as a horror flick
