my fiancé is Turkish and I plan on moving to turkey from set states.we will be marrying there.that is why I am looking at as much information as possibles I can know little before I go.im also trying to learn the language.its hard but I'm pushing through it.i just started as a beginner last week.

These were useful points and educational. i didnt know they didnt speak english also it was nice to know not to exchange money at the airport, i think the english people, are still one of the few countries that drive on the left side of the road. oh you need an adaptor? thanks for reassuring us about the way we dress. i really learnt a lot.
Not only airport, also don't use exchange offices. They give ridiculously low rates. Always use the BANKS. Come inside a bank to exchange your money for the highest rates

Dont get me wrong but I'm laughing so hard lol like all of this is so normal for us so it's so shocking that you found them different :) btw in 2006 yes we get rid of 6 zeros so 1 000 000 became 1 but the reason is our money became more valuable. It's hard to explain but just know it wasnt a bad thing:)

@@kendihalindebiri5902 I was thinking of buying 1 bed apartment in Istanbul city or its suburbs as a vacation home but possibly to retire in. With the unfortunate situation of COVID, it is nearly impossible to visit to verify the goodness of this city :)

Do not dare to compare Turks with Greeks and even champion the latter ones. Never mention anything about Armenians and their claims. Never mention Turk-Kurt differences. If there is a talk about those people, just stay neutral.
