Things you need to know before buying Renault Kwid 

I personally have one, yes the specs say its low on safely and all but I've driven it for a year now, its very stable, dont be discouraged by negative commends if you want to buy one. For me it's a great car personally, no break downs like other well known cars if you get what i mean

Wiper part is wrong. You have to use the same method as that of Benz. Start the wiper and halt it when at centre, and then lift up

It is an excellent car within the budget. I am using the same model for the last 2 yrs. One can safely drive at a speed of 100km/hour in highways

I drove 20,000 Km mostly on Highway, total driven - 25000 Km till now I have no problem it cent percent - it gives 25kmpl. I love kwid

some good things in kwid-------good suspension,ride quality is pretty good,steering performancd is awesome,great milage,best boot,best space in this sigment,handling of the car is good negative------light weight(just40 kg light than alto),a little noisy engine

Good description I don't think its a German cost cutting procedure that has undergone in this car design But an Indian trend of cost cutting has happened. It clearly shows, and there is an understanding of how it is analysed in an Indian trend.

I own a Kwid. What a lovely little car. Reliable. Fuel efficient. No complaints and I drive rough terrain off road and long distances.

Climber is better most those problems are solved and its much neater 🙌🏻

i have travelled in city and highway both with my kwid rxt 1.0(opt).....not faced even a single problem......yes engine is pretty noisy but apart from it,its a great experience

One Of The coolest review

It's a entry level car, and in the cost of Alto 800 it gives you good millage, good space, good ground clearance and good looks as well...after all it desine for those people who need a budget car with A/C, Space and millage ! Don't go with this car if you can invest 8 Lack for Maruti Swift....She will give you perfect riding and comfort with 14 KMPL millage.

Since I was little I have observed drivers of so many vehicles that they stop the wiper at its highest position before they lift the wiper up for cleaning. Doing the same in this case could have saved the wiper and the bonnet from scratches. I think same is might be mentioned in the owner manual too.

The fuel fails in a short time, cutting fuel now and then, especially when you apply emergence brakes or negotiating a bend, if your fuel is lower than 2 bars, it cuts fuel sometimes to an extend of switching off engine.

You won't notice much of cost cutting actually. And this car is best if it's your first car. My friend owns this car and its 1.5 years old and it's going great. I personally feel it's one of the best entry level hatchbacks

I must say, this does seem kind of outdated, today I visited the Renault and looked at it, there were several things of this that no longer show like the seat-belts and the back being naked. Didn't look at the details like the Window Cleaner or the foam. I will check on that next time i see it (Probably this week)

Generally... regarding for budget car ....we can't expect.more facility or some more features... hopefully this is okay...it's really a budget car better version than alto800... My opinion.... First of all....some basic needs or necessary features are important like brake... radius for turning.... maintenance... service points....mileage..easy to handle the features...etc...that is enough for budget car.... If we want better more features and also it depends on usages...we have more options than budget cars... So friend...I think u are not satisfied on budget car or have expectations more... Take care...

it has a glove compartment right below the space on left hand side PS: I own a Kwid RXL 2015 model, overall a peaceful car for city driving but mileage is nowhere close to the one claimed by Renault. Recommendation: Not meant for Highways and is highly unsafe!

Nice! Although you get what you pay for but this is really a farce in the name of Renault car. These companies think they can sell anything in India. Alas indian automotive journalists are in their pockets and you can see all of them praising kwid. Autocar went a step ahead and did a promotional video by taking this car to paris. Quality issues raise a doubt on this vehicle's crash handling ability and i am quite certain that the shitty engine doesn't also follow pollution emitting norms. How nice to find an honest review for a change!

Wrong review I'm using kwid Rxt model, car is definitely good with this budget, can go at a speed of 110 steadily, not that much engine sound,car steering is good and totally compact car..

How would u rate this in comparison with the Alto K10 vxi. Which one is better overall? V good video by the way. None of the so called experts pointed out these issues.

In terms of quality and feel Eon is way better than Alto and Kwid. The rear seats are large and comfortable, retractable rear seat belts, less engine noise, comfortable driving seating position, soft suspensions, etc. The only problem with Eon is its ground clearance in which Kwid beats every competitor in its segment

The fuel is proper. There are 6 sections. With the onr besides E being the reserved, thats even in Red LED. The rest 5 are 20% each. Comeon.
