You hiccup because your diaphragm (a muscle between your lungs and stomach) becomes irritated. Once it becomes irritated it begins to spasm. This spasm causes the hiccup. Also, the best method for getting rid of the hiccups is to simply hold your breath. When your body is too occupied with getting carbon-dioxide to your blood, it shuts down hiccups to help you breathe. (Because if you hold Oxygen inside of your lungs, it will turn into Carbon Dioxide) (Cellular Respiration)((am I smart yet?))

@@Dark_Minded18 or astral projection some people do it without trying and it allows them to float out of the body and see yourself and fly around but as soon as your body wakes up you get sucked back into your body and you wake up.
No the easiest way with out any skill is just holding your breath for like 10 seconds. After a while it will be 3 seconds or you can just stop by thinking of not hiccuping. Its what i do but if am in a hurry, stressed, or tired i just hold my breath.
i used my phone in my lucid dream and it looked almost like it was in real life, I was in a train with people I knew in real life and when I noticed that I was dreaming I stood up instantly and freaked out a bit but then the dream went on (im not gonna tell the whole story its too long but it was a great experience)

Best thing I’ve found to get rid of hiccups is to drink a ton of water, slowly. I think this is thought to somehow reset your chest muscles or something, but take that with a grain of salt. Also, yawning is useful while flying. If you can’t make your eardrums pop, try yawning. If you’re not tired, try yawning anyway, eventually you will kind of force your body to do this. This works because it equalises the pressure in your ears.

Getting rid of hiccups actually requires a lot of practice. Only met one other guy who knew how to get rid of them like I did. His way of explaining it was to "will the hiccups away" which didn't help much, but pretty much you have to train your diaphragm to not contract. You don't flex anything, you just really focus on where the hiccups are coming from and when you feel one coming on just try and combat it. That's the best way I can describe it but yeah that's how I learned how to get rid of hiccups

Actually, I can perform "gleeking" on command. I one day noticed I had done so by accident and was intrigued enough to try and repeat it. After a few more accidental ones, I had the feeling down enough to perform it on command.

I hated being tickled when I was younger and I learned to suppress it. I can stop hiccups once they start usually right away and I have very lucid dreams where I can take over and control what happens.

I can lucid dream. It mainly started when alarms (for school) would wake me up but id fall back asleep with it still going. Now today i can be "awake" but still dreaming and making whatever i want happen. Kinda plays ourlt like a book in my head.
