My friend Heisanevilgenius (who was actually credited in the description!) was the one who figured out how this works. The game gives you credit for a right answer as long as you put the letters in the correct order. It also ignores spaces and double letters. So, for example, if you answered "anGRy video gAme NerD ADventures," you'd get credit for "GRAND DAD." It's really fun to play against someone who doesn't know about this trick. Edit: I forgot to mention the relevance of this comment. I was describing how to rip the game's music in high quality.

Yeah, I know, it's my favourite TAS. :) At first I thought this video was faked, but I thought it was a very good fake because I understand how the word parser for this game works and I know why the joke answers from the original TAS were accepted, and I know that it would accept these answers as well. It wasn't until after I made that original comment that I realized it probably was an actual TAS, not a fake.
Holy shit this is amazing. Out of all the jokes in this channel a TAS was not something I'd imagine. Almost makes me forgive you for beaning me multiple times.
