Thanks for explaining how to hit the ball more in front, something multiple pros over the last 10 years could never explain properly to me. I am looking forward to the summer.

I don’t think this is the best mental image - it’s one correct form but it will cause players to think on a form or technique rather than intent. Look at Berritini, Kyrgios, Sock - those guys show clearly that the entire intent of the swing is to accelerate the wrist and racket up the back of the ball and their form is not standard but it doesn’t have to be.

Great point! Everyone learns with different examples and analogies so I'm not surprised this isn't going to work for you specifically but it does give the idea of looseness with racquet head speed :)

Always enjoy when add physics to the tips. It helps make sense of why certain techniques are effective. I am constantly striving for more racquet head speed. Thanks.

LaBambaC I think it’s the idea of “making the turn” on your swing tight as it will create more spin.

Thanks! Working on this at the moment. Can’t seem to get the whip going. Coach recommended me to buy a whip! But wet towel is a great idea. Gonna keep working on it!

Awesome! Yes it's not easy. I like to think of having a bent arm when I take the racquet back and try to straighten it during impact. This should happen easier the more relaxed your grip is. Good luck!

Ben Wolfe thanks for that tip I’ll try that out. Hope I get it soon! Also on the backhand side too, and serve! Once I get it though I think it will transform my shots massively 💪🏽
