Thank you to whoever has found these talks given when I was young. These are the men of my childhood and they were all spiritual giants. Elder McConkie has a testimony that is unwavering. He lived what he preached and was a master teacher. He took time to explain each verse in a scripture here to help us understand it fully. That is a master teacher when all can understand them no matter their level of knowledge, education or understanding. I think these should all be heard by the younger generation nowadays. He speaks of what President Nelson is now preparing us and especially the youth to prepare us and then as they welcome in The Second Coming. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt my sons will see the Second Coming and my grandkids as well. I may even if I live long enough. It’s not too far off to say it’s far fetched for me in my early 50’s. I’m just not very healthy anymore and don’t think I’ll be around more than a few years I’d that. But that can change. Priesthood power, it’s blessings and promises to me tell me I may get well again. It’s hard to have that faith all the time. This man always puts it back into perspective for me. He may sound like a simple man from a farm but don’t let that fool you, he is and was a spiritual giant along with the other great prophets, seers and revelatory in this dispensation.
I couldn’t agree more! All of a sudden talk after talk by Elder MCConkie started appearing by suggestion of the RU-vid algorithm. Clearly the Lord know I need this right now more than any other. Thank you!
